South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Willy was absurdly pleased with himself that he managed to get her to accept to his ridiculous demands. Oh, he was aware of his overbearing nature, imposing on others in the least convenient times, annoying people to the point of anger. Sure, it was done in jest but he was starved for attention. It was a constant thought process that spun in his head - how could he get someone to talk to him? To pay attention to him? It was childish and he knew but it was far better than falling into that well of despair that seemed to haunt everyone.

"I couldn't agree more," he flashes that toothy grin at her again. It was far too lonely in this vast ocean. It was only a matter of moments that he was in a partial human form - the man far too dense to notice the way she diverted his eyes away from his torso. And even then, it look him far to long to realize they couldn't communicate this way either. Instead, Willy reaches out and squishes her cheeks between his large palms announcing rather loudly at how utterly adorable she is! Its then that she releases a bark, perhaps surprised? Or maybe it was in agreement? It was hard to tell. Continuing to rattle on and on about his absurd questions - he's pleased when she nods and gestures with a flipper towards the coastline, "Really? That must be so nice," he sighs almost wistfully. 75% of his life he had lived in the water, although there were several run down homes his pod would stop at when they finished their migration for the year.

He was also accustomed to the human aspects of his life too, the man having gone through schooling and living partially on land. Willy had to admit though - he rather enjoyed playing tourist wherever he went - it was just too fun to pass up.

It takes him a moment longer to realize the conversation is only one sided before he's quickly shifting, eyeing her under the water. It's then that he's announcing how tiny she is, a response quick in coming. Laughing through their mental connection, he gestures with a fin, "Are you calling me fat?" He teases her lightly while he flashes that terrifying toothy grin again. "Arya," he tests her name out before tacking on, "It's nice to meet you," he waves a fin in her general direction. "Ah man, I'm jealous. No, I got separated from my pod awhile ago so I've been hunting on the coast. I don't feel comfortable enough to settle into my instincts to make the rest of the migration," he admits though it's a statement of a fact rather than a call for pity, "They'll be back in several months so I'll meet up with them then," he says, a mental shrug being sent down their mental connection.

The sudden realization of committing cannibalism overcomes him as he quite literally loses it, expressing how he may have eaten someone before. Werefish? Sure, it could be a thing... possibly? Although, that would be rather unfortunate. As Willy continues to ramble on, he's cut short by the reasonable Arya, her simple statement putting him at ease almost immediately. "I guess... that makes sense," he laughs as the rest of his anxiety drains away. Floating closer to her, he pokes her with a fin, for no other reason than just because he wanted to, "So, what's the city like? I won't be able to go on land so I'll have to live vicariously through stories. I'm pretty sure I would get arrested for streaking if I did," he grins.
