The need for change was always in the back of her mind, ironically one of the few constant things about the slender woman. The desire for something new, something different there was nothing like it. It was more seductive to her than any type of drug or alcohol she had ever tried, and while it made her rather unpredictable perhaps, she enjoyed when life surprised her... well mostly. Things had largely settled down in her life, a routine making itself present in the absence of work since the Ark had sank and with it her employment. All in all it boiled down to the fact that the snow leopard was bored for lack of a better word. She missed the excitement of her job, the fast paced constantly changing atmosphere where one night was never the same as the next. Its absence left her with an itch she just couldn't scratch, but it did increase her desire to wander. The last time she had visited the South she had been fortunate enough to find Sorcha's shop, though a few others had caught her eye in the process and it drew her back to the area today.
Spring was finally starting to emerge, the air noticeably warmer though the breeze that kicked up every so often in the early evening was enough to raise warrant the light jacket she wore over her tank top. Artwork in one of the large shop windows caught her eye, surprise lighting her face when a glance at the sign indicated it was actually a tattoo parlor. The detail and effort in the pieces on display were exquisite and on a whim she opened the door and strayed into the cozy interior of the shop. The framed pieces continued inside, littering the walls to rival any museum gallery and she was engrossed in studying their eye-catching designs. She had one tattoo already, a leopard paw settled amongst magnolias on her left shoulder she had gotten a few years back on another such impulse.
A lot had changed since then, she had been through so much that something permanent to mark that seemed only appropriate though she had no idea what. She didn't doubt whoever owned the shop or worked there would have noticed her entrance by now, and she turned to approach the counter. Tetradore had kept up with her average paycheck despite the Ark sinking so she had a bit of money to burn and this seemed like just the remedy.
