The restlessness stirred within the leopard like an itch beneath his skin. The combination of the full moon above and too- that gathered pack, so readily seemed to coax those more animalistic instincts to the surface. Tobias was very near unable to contain that energy that all but demanded he shift. The lanky deviant was quick to strip his clothing from his figure. Tobias, even from his earliest days, so hardly caring for modesty in any sense. That shift was quick to overcome his figure, his human form giving way to the gold and black spotted pelt of his feline figure. His brown eyes replaced those equally golden iris that near gleamed within the half-light of the rapidly setting sun. Tobias's own form shifted forward, the boy stretching in a fashion decidedly cat-like as Mira and Raven both moved to brush agianst Tetradore's ebony frame in that exchange of scents. Tobias' long tail flicked at his flanks as the leopard strode forward, the quick, sudden movement of a moth so readily seemed to ensnare his attention. One large paw swiped upwards, Tobias batting at the moth over and over with a clear and animalistic delight that spoke of those feline instincts alone before that sudden mention of just where they were going seemed to prompt his attention back to his pack. The idea of water, a notion he was hardly inclined to agree too.
His stuttered, broken lyrics pressed to the minds of each of them. Tobias refused to indulge that water in any sense. The mere thought of the liquid alone was enough to prompt him to bristle. Mira's sudden insistence that 'the leopard had spoken' prompted Tobias' own ears to prick forward. The boy seemed to contemplate those very words as his head tilted. His mind, perhaps, seeming to find some sort of pleasure in the sound of them upon her tongue. Tobias' mind, after all, was so often given to fixate upon sounds or words he enjoyed. His mind so taking a comfort of sorts in theri repetition over and over again. A pattern to be repeated. A logic to be followed.
"Leopardhasspoken...leopardhasspoken."
That sentence was repeated in a near rush, those syllables blurring together and yet the deviant seemed satisfied. A distinctly feline grin so managed to find his face, though what pleasure he took in those words remained to be seen. Mira dove forward then, her teeth nipping at Tetradore's shoulder before the rest of the pack moved to follow. Tetradore's ebony frame was quick to race across the ground and take up that position at the head of the pack. Tobias, in turn, was quick to follow. The Leopard and Panther far swifter than their canine companions over that short distance. Tobias, after all, belonged at Tetradore's side. That place his own by right and rank and one the deviant so refused to allow another to occupy in any sense. His understanding of order, when it came to pack, was absolute. Raven and Mira so left to run behind them at that slower pace to more accommodate Raven's needs. The group was quick to tear through that forest and down into the valley Raven and himself had run through before. Tetradore, however, hardly seemed satisfied. Tobias distinctly aware of even the vaguest of shifts within his beloved companions' gait- the Leopard effortlessly adjusting to match that pace before the emerald-eye felines command to follow sawTobias launch his own frame upward and into those trees.
Tobias' razor-sharp claws extended from his paws to grip the nearest tree trunk. His speed and ready athleticism seeing the leopard climb that tree in a manner of seconds before leaping onto the nearest branch with feline grass. Both big cats so easily leap from tree to tree at rapid speed. Why Tetradore desired to climb through the trees Tobias hardly knew. Such things hardly mattered. The lanky deviant so never given to question his favoured companions actions in any sense. Tetradore was Alpha. Alpha was never wrong. He was sure of it. The boys climbed higher into those trees, leaping from branch to branch in feline style, pulling further and further away from the women as they did. Tobias a shadow to his favoured companion as they moved in perfect sync. Tetradore's sudden pause prompted Tobias to halt in turn, his claws biting into the wood to keep himself balanced as a powerful howl split the night air. The leopard's ears turned atop his head and toward the source of the sound. Mira's voice echoed upon the wind as only a wolf could before Raven's howl softly seemed to entwine with it. That sound was one far less heard. Tobias, for several seconds, inclined to listen to those notes before Tetradore's roar erupted from beside him. How much Tobias delighted in that game of noise making! His own jaws parted, tht leopard roar exploded from within his own throat to rip into the night air and echo across the night sky. That pack, momentarily united within those sounds before Tobias fell silent. The deviant so seemingly unsatisfied with his own contribution as he rested within that tree beside his companion.
Tobias' golden gaze shifted from Tetradore, to the shadows of the forest and back again. The howls of the wolves continued to echo as Tobias' jaws parted once more. The younger man, this time, content to add his own far more....unique sound to that mix.
"YYYYYOOOWWWLLLLLL!!!"
That screaming feline yowl was near ear splitting. The sound all but silencing the forest around them for several seconds before Tobias abruptly ceased. The feline offering a near animalistic grin towards his favoured companion then. His golden gaze meeting the emerald of Tetradore's own.
"I...win."
"I don't suffer from my insanity.
I enjoy every moment of it.
