South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

She's habitually paradoxical, a parallel perpendicular;

An exhale of hot breath caused a plume of her breath to puff out of her like a dragon. It was colder than usual, even though the sun beamed down upon her pale locks making it appear lighter than usual. Her silver eyes filled with delight that could have been for anything that touched her mind in that moment. Cold or not, she couldn't be the least bit worried as her booted feet trudged through the snow, leaving a trail behind her. The tip of her exposed nose could feel the bite of winter that also brought a blush-like glow to her cheeks. The animals didn't really seem very up to talking today either, at least the ones that were not in hibernation-mode or huddled down and puffed up to conserve energy. The only exception were the birds! They flew about like the natural acrobats of the sky, swirling in intricate patterns with delight that sparked a hint of envy within her chest. How she wished she could join them in flight. How she yearned to fly too. A gift that was not bestowed to her, a right given to many fae.

Their chirps were a lovely sort of music to her ears, along with the lyrics that only she could understand, besides amongst their own kind. It was easy to tune out the noise of people scattered about that park when she had this. The young fae could not help the way she tilted her chin to bask it all in it. It was a perfect place to eat her lunch, even though many would prefer to seek out the warmth of cafes to eat a meal. Not her. Iliana chose the company of the outside world, amongst the often-forgotten creatures.

She maintained a wary little distance from the children that were playing out of habit, not that anyone truly paid her much mind. Not when they were busy throwing their icy packed snowballs at one another or tirelessly making snowmen or forts in the open spaces of the park. It wasn't that often that snow truly stuck around for long and at least the youthful kids, like many of the forest creatures, delighted in the innocent play. Her gloved hands reached to tug at the rim of her hat, making sure those pointed ears were concealed from view from any wandering eyes before she trudged through the snow to find a perfect place to sit. A familiar boulder near the forest's edge that offered the girl a perfect place to sit. With her forearm, she cleared a place to sit with a long swipe, revealing a concealed patch of moss below. Plucking off those gloves she wore, she placed them neatly beside her, humming a translated version of the bird's song she had heard. She pulled her bag onto her lap, peering out to see if anyone would draw near. It seemed no one wished to keep her company today. Not lingering upon it, she pulled out her cut up apple slices, far more than she needed herself simply because the woman was used to sharing... more for her then.

She eyed the children playing, remembering her own childhood for only the briefest of moments as she brought the apple to her lips, savouring the potent juicy flavours that burst upon her tongue. Only to spy a cute little chickadee fluttered before her.

"Hello there." She said with a warm smile that matched her words, only it chirped back a greeting, not even curious with what she had in her bag. Strange, they were always curious.

She wasn't aware of the movement around her. Only a soft shuffle of sound, her gaze returning to her side to see a long black and white form slinking away and her gloves missing, a badger! Weres!

"HEY! Give that back!" The girl drew to her feet, leaving her food behind to chase after the retreated creature who stole her gloves. She followed those tracks until they disappeared into the woods, making it impossible to track. Impossible. He was well coordinated, she would give him that. A rare frown drew upon her features as she turned back. She would need new gloves. "Perhaps.. they needed it more than I did." She muttered to herself, looking to her ungloved hands with a temporary pout. Silver lining time.... They at least didn't take her lunch!

It would seem that despite her friendship with the creatures, it did not spare her from their antics. When she turned around, she noticed her bag was gone too.. including her food. Only footprints that inevitably got confused with other sets that went every which way... She had been duped! The oldest trick in the book. Had the chickadee been in on it too? It wasn't nice of her to go on being suspicious of potentially innocent beings.. She was just upset.

The silvery blonde fae stormed after those tracks, distraught and somehow still curious. Some gemstones and other shiny rocks she'd 'collected' were in that bag. How could they do such a thing!? She would have shared her lunch with them had they asked. Now.. everything was gone. Except for a random set of feline tracks along with... racoon tracks. Great. In her search, she ended back upon that snow-removed walkway only to be crashed into by a much bigger man. The collision sent her hat flying to the floor exposing her pointed ears. "Sorry!" She exclaimed even when it was hardly her fault that the man hadn't looked where he was going. He didn't even bother to give her a second glance.. didn't even care that she nearly fell... or that now people were trampling all over her fallen hat nor stopped to help. The fae was too busy in her attempt to conceal her ears before she saw an opening and took it, sneaking forward and bent down to snatch her now sad wet hat.

She lowered her hand with the cold wet hat within her right hand as she attempted the near impossible task of trying to find her things. The looks she received were either impatient or unkind.. Nor did people take too kindly to her talking to their dogs. But it didn't stop her from approaching one last person. A man who didn't look entirely unfriendly. One last try.

Hopeful, she strode up alongside the dark-haired man, making sure her pointed ears were still covered as she frantically waved around her wet, trampled hat to garner his attention. "Excuse me mister? Have you seen a raccoon, a badger and or a big cat with a bag? My bag... I think they are a gang and they stole my gloves too..." She blurted out in a rush. She eyed him with wide silver eyes that held the hopeful maybe..
