The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. Ashton was a kind soul, helping anyone in need. It didn't matter if they had millions or nothing. They could be clean or dirty. None of it mattered. His purpose was to help all God's creatures big and small. Human, animals, and the environment they lived in.

So naturally when the woman took a huge tumble, Ashton rushed in to help. He extended his hand to her, grabbing hold of her and leading her closer to her board that floated just inches away. She seemed to accept his help at first, and for that he was grateful.

But the moment he spoke, her whole body recoiled as if she were terrified or disgusted. Her own body pulled away, nearly catapulting her back into the water. Ashton sat there, hand still held out for her as he watched in horror. What had he done? He had only offered to help and had no idea of the demons she was facing deep within her mind. For if he had, it would have said a prayer to eliminate them from her thoughts.

He pulls his hand back as she tries to calm herself, her hand running nervously through her hair. She apologizes for her reaction and Ashton only offers her a soft smile. His blue gaze is soft and full of concern, as if he is afraid to leave her. Her demons are large and in charge and he hates seeing anyone suffer as she is.

She finally makes it fully onto her body, straddling the wide body and centering her center of mass. He can still hear the tremble in her voice, but she seems determined to still talk to him, to inquire how he is. It seems almost trivial to ask him how he's doing. She looks far more worse for wear. "I'm fine...I was lost in prayer and didn't see you. My apologizes." For a moment he wonders if he should extend his hand again, but this time in a handshake. He decides to entertain the idea and holds it out for her. "My name is Ashton Doss...it's a pleasure to meet you, ma'am." Even if she was shaking in her wet suit, he still found pleasure in the meeting. He loved meeting new people. While most were pleasantly surprised at his kindness, she seemed terrified. It was a new one for him.
