The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

"Haven't you ever answered a question with another question? Super fun." His lips quirked up more in the corners. "Don't know what you're missing out on." He couldn't help but tease, trying to see what details he could pull out of the man before him. He asked then about the staring and Erik looked off toward the bar again with a light shrug. "Hm, I guess one could call it staring. Or just looking in a general direction for an extended period of time." He was nonchalant as can be, leaning back further to look back up at the man before him. When the copycat chose to point out what he thought he knew, Erik chuckled and shook his head. "See, that's where you're wrong. I've actually read that paper three times over. I can tell you about the quintuplets on page three, the house fire on page 5, or if you're feeling flirty, we can talk the do's and don't's of foreplay on page 2c." His blue eyes practically danced. His head tilted again as he looked up at the man. "And what business is it of yours why I watch someone take out the trash? Maybe I hate litterers." His lips quirked up more, revealing a white flash of teeth. He noticed the accent change, but kept up the play, wanting to see where it led. Obviously, this immortal was good at shifting into other people and could change voice at will, as well. Pretty nifty trick, if he did say so. He had to wonder if they would still burn to a crisp when the sun came up, though. The man's next moves had him truly perplexed. He lifted a brow as the man suddenly spun around and plopped down on the bench beside him. He didn't shift from his own position but just watched the other man curiously, especially when the other started to check out his own biceps. When he reached up to brush at his own facial hair, Erik couldn't help but chuckle again. "Not used to having that there? Maybe you should check out your tonsils next, make sure they're working right." His voice practically hummed with amusement. He continued to enjoy the show as the man then looked over at him for a moment as if studying him before trying to mimic the way he was sitting. The Viking found himself truly fascinated as the shapeshifter spread himself out as he was doing but couldn't figure out where to put his hands so he folded them in his lap. When the man beside him looked around before asking about the human he had been watching, he couldn't help but smirk. "Hm, but what do I get if I tell you? Takes away all the mystery." |
