South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Even for a city filled with supernaturals, it wasn't as common as one would think to simply run into another vampire. The park and let alone the playground area was even less likely. Both those factors added to Anna's confused curiosity when it registered that the individual which had appeared was also a vampire. The way in which the woman held herself and spoke ever so softly regarding feeding had the little vampire quirking a brow. How odd it was to have a vampire so...demure. There was just something about the aura of the woman that screamed malnourished. Perhaps it was because she too had been there before. Anna easily shook her head and gave her blessing for the woman to hunt as she pleased. It wasn't her place to keep anyone from feeding though she did offer a tidbit of a warning. It would do no good to have a Hunter come running.

Anna had begun to loosen her toes on the ground in preparation to return to her swinging, leaving the fellow vampire to do as she pleased, only to have her remain standing there with a clear look of apprehension on her features. Was this one new to feeding? Did she lack a sire to teach her? "Do you need help?" The offer was given with some confusion. It would have been easy enough to frighten the group enough to cause them to scatter then pick one off for her. It had been some time since she had hunted in that fashion, not since she had gotten her wits about her at least. Help seemed to be just what the woman needed, though apparently not in the traditional sense. "Isn't that something; I haven't come across a psychic vampire in quite some time." Anna offered her a soft smile, "Well, if I'm going to help you feed then I might as well introduce myself. My name's Anna-Marie." Whether or not the woman wanted to introduce herself was entirely up to her, Anna's help was not conditional to knowing who she was. The child slowly slipped from the swing to plant firmly on her feet. "Now, let's get you fed. I'll talk to the one sitting on the bench there on the far right." Only a glance was given back to ensure she understood before making a beeline for the unsuspecting group of boys.

Before her sanity had returned, even the small group with their heated conversation and quick movements on the skateboards, would have been triggering for her. Being too close to all their beating hearts and chaotic energy would have ended in a blood bath. Now though, Anna was focused only on the task of helping the demure psychic vampire. The slow methodical approach of the petite vampire was hardly noticed by the group until she was standing directly in front of the intended target. The young man looked up from his buddies phone which he had been leaning over slightly to laugh along at whatever video was playing. "Can you help me find my mummy?" Anna's innocently cherub voice spoke softly, glancing between the man and his buddy, though she could hardly call them men. Their blank stares momentarily had Anna mentally rolling her eyes before she spoke again. "I'm lost...can you help me find her?" Whether it was her appearance or her term for mother that was causing them to trip up was hard to determine. Either way she continued to distract them so that the other vampire had a chance to take what she needed. At least it was a much cleaner way to feed and wouldn't attract the attention of any Hunter.
