With a plan finally in place, Serafina set out through the darkened pathways of the zoo, the low set heels of her boots clicking in the quietness of the park. The pair were silent as they walked, each dwelling with their own thoughts. Serafina, for the most part, was far more preoccupied with considering the order that had prompted their outing in the first place. While this would restock her supplies with missing ingredients - there was still much work to be done before she could begin to craft the potion she had been commissioned for. It hadn't even occurred to her, the possibility of getting caught. And why would it? Between their shared powers, the pair were more than capable of dealing with any human who stumbled across them...and most other supernatural beings, for that matter. Unless they happened to find an odd vampire attempting some resemblance of a 'normal' life with an unexpected nocturnal job. The notion was ridiculous enough to bring a soft snort of amusement to Serafina's nose, even as the women paused in front of the large glass fence that would have contained the ostentatious birds they sought. Hardly a word passed between the two before, with a flick of Raven's wrist, their shoes began to levitate off the ground, their bodies sent smoothly up and over the large glass fence only for Raven to deposit them, safely, on the other side.
Serafina's gaze briefly scanned the exhibit she found herself in, her own metaphysical senses stretched out to locate the birds in the massive tree at the center of their enclosure. The water within their bodies called out to her - as her element so often did and yet, now that she knew they were relatively safe, Serafina was content to ignore that sweet melody of her element entirely. Instead, her eyes were trained to the ground, meticulously searching for those bright blue and green colored feathers. Her attention was swayed only by the soft sound of her companion, drawing Serafina's focus but briefly. "No, peacocks are associated with more than just beauty. They symbolize protection and good luck and renewal ...immortality and vision...awareness....good luck..." She continued on distractedly, hardly noticing herself repeating the symbology she'd already mentioned. Rather, Serafina was far more focused on plucking as many feathers as she could from the undergrowth and grass that surrounded the exhibit. After all, it wasn't likely that she'd get an opportunity as grand as this one. Even the female's duller feathers held immense value to her. The money she could make from this haul alone!
A small frown tugged at the corners of her lips, however, as Serafina picked up the last feather she could see. She sighed softly, the witch certain she could never have enough of this commodity. A small bundle of feathers was suddenly presented to her, causing an easy simper to again alight her fair features as she glanced up at her companion. Serafina opened her messenger bag, allowing Raven to deposit her collection in its depths before she trailed after the girl towards the same glass window they'd entered through. She watched as Raven reached in her pocket for the map the moment the pair's feet touched the ground again. Serafina glanced over the complicated pathway that would take them towards the next exhibit, only for her gaze to shift upward to orient herself in the real world. "I think it's....this way." She commented, pointing down one of the pathways surrounding the peacocks. Her brow arched upward at the sigh she was met with, only for Serafina to listen silently to the concerns of her friend. Her head shook slightly, her ebony locks swaying at the gesture. "There shouldn't be any need to do that. Ocelots lose their baby teeth just like humans. As long as the babies were in the exhibit at some point, there's a chance we might find a few teeth - we're just going to have to look." She shrugged as if she was hardly concerned in the slightest. "There's no point in risking anything. If we can't find any, we'll just skip them." After all, the last place Serafina wanted to spend her night was in jail. The girl began to tread down the paved path she thought would lead them to the animal in question, only to glance behind her shoulder at her friend, "Coming?"
