Nadya had finally settled into her new existence. Even if she still didn't remember much of the previous years, she was beginning to allow herself to breathe in who she was now. She rarely pressed her presence upon her brother, still finding it best to live with Ashton, but still sought to mingle around the new ship learning its layout on occasion. One day she hoped he would look at her differently...how she remembered his big brother gaze. It was odd not feeling that full pack bond anymore- it was like a hollow hum but it was by now a normal feeling. Tonight she had decided to roam the shadows of the streets instead. The cool nip of the air was welcome in her lungs as her muscular ebony form paced through the city. She wandered rather aimlessly and wasn't really paying attention to where she was going until a familiar scent suddenly invaded her nose.
It had been a long while indeed since she had last seen the human but his scent still brought the memory of his face back to the forefront of her mind. Taylor. The chivalrous one who had insisted on returning her pilfered prize of a wallet. Hmm. Perhaps she'd see what he was up to. Curiosity wound about the feline as she pivoted to follow that scent trail to a large brick building with a sign hanging above labeling it as an autoshop. Even at this time of night one of the rolling doors was up with a faint warm yellow light emanating from within along with the sound of music. The ebony jaguar hugged the shadows as she skirted into the shop, utilizing the tall tool boxes, cars, and piled tires to make her way around the shop. Silent paws leapt atop a parked car then up into the beams and tangle of chains above.
Sharp golden feline eyes gazed down at Taylor busy beneath the hood of a car. Nadya had only thought so far on getting inside and not really on what to do once here. Most humans had no idea about the Supernatural and if they did...abhorred it. What if she showed herself and he began throwing things at her?
Nadya contented herself to simply watching the human work until she caught movement at the entrance. A small group of five men entered the shop looking less than savory. The one who deemed themselves the leader stepped up to where Taylor was on a roller beneath the car and kicked it lightly with his foot. "'Ey." The man had an accent that Nadya couldn't place. She watched as the man waited for Taylor to emerge and straighten himself. "According to my men you haven't been paying your share. We protect this slice of neighborhood...for a fee..and you're overdue.." He continued to eye Taylor, none the wiser to the feline still watching in the shadows above.
She had no intention of getting in the middle of the humans' affairs when she first entered. However, when Taylor seemed to wave them off and mumble something, the sight of the strange man pulling something to wield at Taylor's turning back...well, she leapt without thinking. The large feline came falling from the shadows and onto the aggressor, jaws open wide only to clamp down on the man's shoulder with a sickening crunch as they both fell to the ground. His screams were lost upon her ears as the jaguar leapt from him and swiped at another who stepped forward before situating herself squarely in front of Taylor to face them, snarling with her tail lashing angrily. It was giving all trust to Taylor not to attack her instead with her back to him.
