South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Control. Control was an ugly word. When she was a puppy she had experienced a little to no amount of freedom. Her life was controlled by others. Her life was on a strict schedule. Each day it was the same thing over and over again. She had her three meals on the clock. She had school work with her peers for a little while, but she couldn't participate in the same activities with them. When they went off and learned how to hunt or howl she was sent back to her cage. When she needed to change she had to wait for her handlers to come and place the chains around her. Her actions were controlled, she was led wherever they wanted her to go. It was annoying, but it was something she grew accustomed to. Although she was a creature that was born and bred to follow structure and rules her life was just far too controlled. Having too much control over someone really limits their ability to be capable of controlling themselves and perhaps that was just one of the many reasons why Raven had lapses when she went feral. Deep down inside there was a part of her that simply wanted to have free will and becoming feral was one of the ways she could obtain her freedom.

Lying in the snow her massive form curled around the fox hole, protectively, the lupine was ever so patient when it came to dealing with her prey. The horse was nothing more than a creature that was unable to keep his business to himself. Blue-grey eyes narrowed at the opening mouth of the den and her muzzle would slowly start to poke through the hole, inhaling the scents as her lips pulled back to reveal her sharp teeth. As her mind began to race with different ideas to get the foxes out her attention was deviated due to the annoying hoofed pest. Taking her muzzle out of the foxes' den a snarl erupted from the she-wolf as she showed off her deadly pearly whites. Yet as he began to change away her warmth the lupine slowly began to feel...unwell. It wasn't long before she began to shiver from the lack of body heat. Her breathing was shallow, and she had to take deep breaths as she slowly laid her head over her grey paws. Raven's feral mind could not understand the sudden experience she was feeling, but she knew she did not like it.

Growls continued to rumble in her throat as his voice became muffled. Her eyes began to close slowly as her limbs and organs began to slowly shut down, and she became lethargic. That feral side of her mind was slowly losing its grip and for a moment Raven could start remembering and take control of her form, and yet, she was far too cold to even move. While the foxes exited the den a part of her knew she had to move after them there was a reason why and she just couldn't figure out what it was. Sluggishly her eyes reopened as she watched the familiar red fox that held the blue-gold eyes. A soft whimper came from the beast as her mind began to waver from feral, to her sane state, but it was being heavily dampened by Frost's influence of taking her heat away. Raven could not make coherent thoughts in this state. A part of Raven knew she had to stand up, was aware she needed to move, but it was just too hard to even continue to think. Her eyes continued to haze over as her mind continued to slowly go back and forth from feral and her controlled state.
