South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Hold on to this lullaby; even when the music's gone

"Iâ€"am sorry. I do not know these things." It is said softly, a part of her wanting to curse her father for keeping her in the dark for so long. But the other part whispered that he was only doing what he thought was right and hadn't anticipated an attack on their home. She couldn't fault him or anyone in that moment but she had wished she had been made aware of the dangers lurking in the shadows.

She had heard it just after Raven had, that whizzing noise that whirled above their heads as the other woman dragged them both to the ground. It was only when she heard that bang, it was distinct and she could never forget it that caused her to drop the book again her hand dropping unconsciously to her hip where that other silver bullet had laid in her skin. She watched the humans run, their screaming bound to bring the local authorities. Her attention was pulled by the shadows that rushed around them and this made her anxiety rise considerably, she found that she didn't like the dark now.

When Raven shifts, Claire could only stare at her for a few heartbeats, another gunshot pushed her forward and it scared her so badly that she shifted involuntarilyâ€"clothing and allâ€"something she had never needed to do nor had she ever been taught. There was a moment where she let her body readjust before she took off after the wolf. She could hear the tone of the other and Claire could sense that worried note. If a Were as large as Raven was worried about the Dark Hunters then what chance did she stand against them? Another loud pop and Claire kept close to the larger Were's heels, eyeing the shadows like they might bite her. It took them only moments to reach the woods, and Claire felt that even here they weren't safe yet. "Where to now?" She asks, her anxiety rising, she had no idea if using her power on the Dark Hunter's would work and her first thought had been to see where Frost was but their pack bond alerted her to the fact that he was too far away to help.
