The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. I know it can't be easy for Kohl to see men hitting on me but I can't help the smug satisfaction I feel to know he's got a jealous bone in his body after all. I would never go any further with any other man than innocent flirtacious gestures because that's just not the kind of person I am. I am a flirt but only because my job asks it of me to lure my prey into a trap sometimes. Going at a supernatural only goes the right way rarely. They have power and strength and most of the time, they'll win in a one on one situation. That's why I need the element of surprise to get me to victory and someone with that much power is bound to have an ego to go along with it. Who doesn't like an attractive woman coming onto them? What vampire or were or warlock wouldn't like to throw it in their friends' faces that they got it from a hunter? It's the ultimate score so I play on it. They would never get what they want. I'd die before suffering that disgusting fate. But I can at least make them think they have a shot.

I knew Kohl would notice my less than comfortable status in the plane once we get seated. He looks just as regal as he did at his house but I've always been more comfortable on the ground where I can control my own movement. Up here....well, anything is possible and I don't like it. I try to distract myself with food but it only works until the plane starts moving and then my stomach somersaults and I know I can't eat another bite or I'll throw up. I raise a brow in suspicion when Kohl waves his hand and whispers to a flight attendent, one brow rising toward him as he then turns to me. I shrug, trying to look nonchalant as I lean back in the seat and cross my arms, looking anywhere but at him. "No...I'm just more used to driving to where I'm going. I like my feet firmly on the ground, thank you very much." When I look at him, I can see the humor practically dancing behind those blue gold eyes. I narrow my eyes. "Don't you dare laugh at me, Kohl."

The tone is almost threatening even though I know I could never truly hurt him. As the hostess returns, I watch him take the glass, giving her a questioning look before turning my puzzling gaze to him. As he hands it to me, my gaze softens a little. I smirk. "Trust you to get me drunk any way you can. I doubt the bathroom is big enough or hygenic enough to your standards to get the job done, just sayin." Giving him a knowing look, I turn the glass up to down the contents. I try to be understanding when he opens up to me about Elena and her husband, reaching for his hand. I know it's very rare to show such an affectionate gesture but I thought in this moment, I could be a little spontaneous. I end up getting distraction from him later as I listen to him question the pilot about the bathrooms and refuse food again and again from the flight attendents. I even end up falling asleep at one point, waking up with my head resting on his shoulder. We managed to land with no incident and when he gets off the plane, he instantly wants his luggage back. The attendents start looking but I look up when his head snaps around to see a man he seems to recognize.

My curious gaze then turns to the older woman at his side and I know instantly without question that this is Elena. She at least has good taste. I stand my ground as she approaches, meeting her gaze evenly but not in challenge, only in invitation. I hear his whispered words and I have to resist the urge to reach out and take his hand again for my own comfort. I stiffen only a little when she throws her arms around Kohl and hugs him, kissing his cheeks as she scolds the airport staff. She looks him over appraisingly I might add, one brow rising but I smooth out my features automatically, aware that her husband might be watching me. As she turns her gaze to me, I remain impassive and yet as I'm introduced, I stride forward with all the confidence I own, putting a dazzling smile on my lips as I reach out my hand. "Elena, I've heard so much about you. It truly is an honor to meet you." My eyes put on the brightest light, all my charm and alluring nature put into the gesture as I wait, my eyes never leaving hers. Your move.
