South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i used to rule the world

seas would rise when i gave the word

The blue-green hue of his once vibrant gaze had turned into a nearly deep depthlessness the longer he stood in the dying light and the overcast skies. The rain poured around him and yet, the Dark Hunter was as silent as the grave he should have long ago been resting within. His body was beyond the touch of sickness, entirely too accustomed to the harshness of war and the elements from that life he'd once had. And yet, the great king merely remained idle as he stood, watching the pair as the ebony panther rose to lead his kill from the place he'd so dutifully tracked them to. A scowl rose across his lips, contorting his handsome features into a blatant show of discontent before he stilled almost immediately once again by the sound of a voice at his side. Slowly, his head turned, his gaze steadfast upon the male that stood next to him and yet, for a very long time, Alexander said nothing at all. His own unique affinity was already hard at work - kicked into overdrive by the sheer presence of another's magic. The attributes he had born within his waking world centuries ago had evolved, twisting and contorting so that his already brilliant militarist mind was able to adapt to the supernatural world that had become his prison.

His gaze darted over the male's features, watching with some intense diligence as if he could see through the magic that wove such a realistic facade. He couldn't, naturally, but what he was acutely aware of was that the individual beside him was hardly what appearances made it out to be. He understood with intense clarity that this was nothing more then a mask - hiding the true barer somewhere within. He understood the toll it took upon the wearer to weave such a disguise just as he too somehow knew of it's ability to somehow disassociate them of the real world that surrounded his new found acquaintance. His eyebrows furrowed for but a brief moment, his eyes blinking ever so slightly as he came to terms with such new found knowledge. Alexander didn't say anything on the matter though, rather he let the farce continue for as far as his companion wished it too, instead ensuring he remained attentive to the simple fact that he would have to watch his words. After all, friends did not hide so comfortably behind lies. It was a notion he had plenty of time to learn painfully well.

"Good evening." He commented simply, his baritone voice void of any particular accent. Alexander had been alive for so long, seen the rise and fall of so many worlds that he'd sense been able to master the local dialect and accent that accompanied it for most places. It was only in green, at his birth place, that his wore his true original accent so strongly. His gaze drifted from the supernatural being beside him to his victim, a small shrug crossed his shoulders at the fellow hunter's next words. "I have not yet decided if you are wishing to somehow befriend me or if you're truly that imbecilic to side with the Council on the supposed ferocity of a mere wild cat and a newly dead thing somehow warranting my attention." There was a certain sort of deadpan tone lacing his lyrics as he turned towards his fellow hunter, placing his back to his prey with a kind of finality. His head was held high, his shoulders back and his spine straight in the demeanor of the King that he once was - it was a title that he still held with him to some degree, one that more often then not simply commanded answers. After all, there had to be some benefit to being Alexander the Great.
