The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

I'll love you for a thousand more....
She really needed a damn map of the city.
Having just moved to Sacrosanct, she was a little more than disoriented. It wasn't really her fault she couldn't find her way around, living in a small country town your whole life didn't exactly make you the most adept at city life. Yet even after a week she still could hardly find her way to the local college and back without taking a wrong turn and ending up on a street she was unfamiliar with. It was stressful, trying to follow her phones directions and the directions of locals. Her phone may have been her life saver, if it were for the fact that she was completely technologically inept. Scarlett was a mess, and on top of everything she knew absolutely no one to help her.
A petite hand ran through her mess of blond lock with ease. A long sigh slipped from her lips as she walked out of the city limits. She wanted to run, but not in the sense that a normal person would. As a were creature she wanted to shift and left herself truly run. There were very few places where she could shift without prying eyes of humans or the risk of dark hunters. Rumor had there was a forest that Were creatures used to hunt in and transform in, yet the territory was completely free, unclaimed by any pack making it safe for her to venture in. She had made it outside of the city limits through taxi, the rest of the way she had chosen to walk.
Once she had entered the embrace of the trees, emerald eyes shifted around to make sure there were no prying eyes before she stripped down to keep from ruining her clothes and changed. With a certain grace, her body morphed from that of a teenage human to that of a wolf. Scarlett shook her pelt, rolling her shoulders and flexing her toes. It felt good to be in this form, more natural than her human form. The creme and brown canine, that resembled the bird of prey known as an osprey, snatched up the pile of clothes that laid sprawled out upon the dirt ground beside her in her jaws, carrying them to a tree trunk and shoving them inside. She gently rubbed her cheeks on the bark, rubbing her scent gland over it to mark it and remember where it was for when she returned.
Quickly, she turned and bounded away, the sun of the day reaching through the tree branches to warm up the land around her. She moved until she found a clearing, her tongue flopped out and sides heaving. The sun was most prevalent here, and so she flopped down, rolling onto her side and allowing it to warm her up. Her ears remained perked however, always on alert for the approach of another.
