South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

there are survivors, they're coming home

Oh.

He... touched her.

Minn grimaced slightly as he clapped her on the back, and though it hadn't been very hard her body still shifted forward a little because of it. At least he took her insult and her mumbling to correct it in stride. She was so used to saying something and having other people react so badly to it, whether it was mouthing off in return or...whatever else. It's not even that Minn purposely said stuff to be rude! Living off of nothing for most of her life and vagabonding from place to place had been shitty. There was nothing quite like it to give someone a hard reality check. Afterwards it was just sort of hard to pretend. Whenever she had something to say she just... said it. She was honest â€" and even if it sometimes came out the wrong way Minn always figured it was better than the alternatives. In any case, she appreciated that this guy didn't seem to have feelings made of glass.

"Heh."

She shifted on the stool a little and the idle swiveling started up again. In asking her not to tell the waitress about the coffee a single brow raised, confused for a moment by the indication of another person before her gaze shifted to their waitress who was coming their way. With food! "Okay I won't," Minn replied speedily, though she had probably already forgotten the request. Her brown gaze remained targeted on the food and her mouth began to water as she leaned forward eagerly in her seat, arms pressing against the counter in anticipation.

Everything that was good in the world was unloaded onto plates right in front of her. Every standard piece of breakfast food was present and it was almost impressive. Minn might as well have been eating for two. The amount of food didn't faze her and she busied herself with dousing the stack of pancakes with syrup, glancing over at coffee-man when he expressed his surprise (or maybe concern?) for the amount of food she intended to eat. Minn only laughed a little, but quickly sobered in expression when she eyed his own serving of food. That didn't look like nearly enough for someone for his size.

"No, not really...This is how a breakfast is supposed to look." But the more she stared at his measly pile of eggs and bacon the more her brow furrowed in a mixture of disgust and confusion. ...And perhaps concern. "Are you not starving?" She took the first bite of her breakfast, a mountain of mashed pancakes piled into her fork. "...Because that doesn't look very filling. You can order a third time, you know." She teased, a grin tugging impishly at her lips before stuffing her face with another bite. "Maybe something other than eggs."
