South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Battling a furious bear wasn't particularly high on Tetradore's list for the day's events. He had anticipated the wolverine creature to follow the same routine she daily did - the simple task of ensuring her pack was well fed. It was almost entrancing to the were-feline, the fashion at which so much of their lives seemed to revolve around the most basic of necessities. He had considered, on more than one occasion, how liberating it must be to be concerned only with what they would salvage for dinner or where they would rest their tired paws for the evening. Especially compared to the intricate dynamics of his own mortal pack - issues that likely would never have arisen if they too had remained ignorant of their humanity. Despite this, he had so willingly leapt into battle with the large creature, pulling it's attention momentarily from the coyote only to find himself upon the ground when the bear's grasping had gotten too close for comfort. His emerald gaze steadily held the agitated look of the lupine, hardly perturbed by her own anger at his presence. After all, when something caught the ebony creature's gaze, he tended to fixate upon it, even if that 'it' was a person.

His hair rose on the back of his neck as the bear approached the coyote, his tail lashing as a visible sign of his discontent. His mouth parted, the skin of his muzzle crunching together to show the full extent of his front canines. His gaze was steadfast upon the bear, enough so that he hadn't immediately seen the coyote lunch at the creature. What he was aware of, however, was the immense damage he'd done to her paw. It was a kind of power that her dull claws certainly should not have held, momentarily taking him off guard. He watched as the bear swung in retaliation, the coyote launching herself forward only to dig her teeth into the bear before she's quite literally flung halfway across the clearing. He watched as the woman slowly rose to her feet, the bear's attention still entirely steadfast upon her and yet, Tetradore was hardly going to let the girl become the bear's latest snack. His head shook ever so slightly as he lept forward, using his speed to close the distance between the himself and the group.

The ebony feline slid to a halt in between the pair, his body close enough that his shoulder pressed upon the figure of the female as if in an effort to push her further from the bear. Despite her previous skittish, dominant demeanor, Tetradore had hardly any fears in giving the woman his back, the entirety of his attention focused on the bear at large. His jaws parted to roar at the beast, the sound echoing in the clearing as he attempted to push the coyote back - retreating, he'd decided, was perhaps their best method of survival. If nothing else he could rely upon his own affinities but more often than not he simply chose not too much in the same fashion she had hardly wanted to reveal her own capabilities. One glance back towards the woman was given as he tentatively reached out towards her mind, offering her only three simple words in that baritone voice of his - "Are you okay?"
