South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The city seemed to be alive with other bustling about. Probably going to the club or to the bar. Taxis honked in the distance while people yelled on the street. It was a strange place to find himself in, but Henry figured his memories would return to him one day. Well, he hoped they would. He didn't like missing out on life because he had no clue what his life entailed. What if he had a job somewhere? He would most certainly be fired for missing work. Ironically, Henry didn't think the excuse of "I lost my memories and don't know who I am" would fly. Oh well. He would have to find a new job somewhere. After all, Henry needed a way to support himself.

Even with all the noise from the city, silence fell between him and Sterling. Even though it should be an awkward silence, it wasn't. It felt...right. That was probably more confusing than anything. Why did being so close to this stranger feel so right. Something was tugging at his heart and he couldn't place it. It was irritating that he couldn't figure anything out these days. It was almost like he knew Sterling...at least his body did. That was the only explanation as to why it felt so right just standing there beside him in silence. But that was a silly notion. That couldn't possibly be correct.

When Sterling's voice broke the silence, Henry looked over at the man. He seemed nervous, but Henry couldn't fathom why. Henry watched as Sterling pointed just down the street, telling him that the nearest motel was three blocks from them. That seemed reasonable enough. But what came from Sterling's lips after that was something straight out of a story. Sterling began talking about things that Henry only thought to be true of fiction. His eyebrows furrowed as he listened to Sterling explaining that he could exchange a night's stay for blood...something about vampires and animals. It was all too much and Henry found that he wasn't quite able to comprehend. "Vampires aren't real..." His tone was somewhere between unbelief and questioning as he tried to make sense of what Sterling was saying. Henry decided that he was going to completely give up on trying to understand what this place was. However, when Sterling spoke of knowing where he was coming from, Henry cocked his head to the side. "What do you mean you know what it's like to be where I'm at?" That was probably the most confusing thing he had heard all night. This stranger didn't know him at all. They had just met in the park. So it was no wonder why Henry had a hard time trying to wrap his mind around the fact that Sterling knew his situation. Strange...just so damn strange.
