The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

If he didn't know better he'd almost swear the Fae was going to have a heart attack the way the man clutched at his chest, content to continue to spit useless words at him. His comment in regards to Fae mating rituals earning him little more than the lift of a single eye brow upward in displeasure until it near disappeared beneath the mop of golden hair atop the Hunter's head. For such an utterly stupid creature it sure had a mouth on it. Poorly educated by the sounds of it and yet Azrael is almost given to consider he might be a tad biased in his judgement of the other man. Why he even bothered to consider the morals of a Fae- not even a true human and surely incapable of genuine emotion remained to be seen. It was a waste of time to even allow himself to consider such things. The Fae's protests at being held still are utterly ignored 'let me go' surely the most original thing Azrael has ever heard. The hand gesture now clearly displayed in the man's database photograph sees his lip quirk slightly upward. If this man wanted that for his picture then so be it. He would surely not live long enough to even regret it- the arrow loosened mere moments later by way of warning as he releases his hold on the Fairy- finally having managed to make it run. Though not before it had proceeded to throw a ball at him, the rubber object colliding with his chest, Azrael hardly bothering to deflect it, before dropping uselessly to the ground to be kicked aside with his boot. No one ever had thrown a ball at him before, though if Dodge Ball was the game the man wanted to play, so be it.
"Fifty eight, fifty nine, sixty....."
Really, if he had been hoping for a challenging hunt this man was proving anything but, he couldn't see the boy anymore, but he could damn well hear him crashing and tumbling through the undergrowth. He manages a sigh of sorts, notching another arrow in preparation. This would be over within minutes. At least the boy was running towards the park gates, offering the Hunter some semblance of a game, though the fairy still had just over a mile to go, nearly two, in order to reach them- a distance Azrael remains capable of covering in under a minute at full speed. The competition never fair from the beginning and yet for now at least Azrael remains content to give him a sporting chance. He strolls almost easily behind, stepping over the small stream and onto the track within the forest where he had seen the fairy-boy last, following the shoe marks so clearly imprinted into the earth now. Hmm. The boy was a half decent runner, having managed to avoid most of the fallen logs and tangled undergrowth- a burst of his own inhuman speed seeing the hunter appear rapidly at the downward hill where the shoe marks twisted.
".....tried to look back."
Its more a mutter to himself really, golden eyes follow the trail down the hill, the boy clearly having fallen and rolled most of the way down it, what is evidently the imprint of his rear in the mud followed by further scampering footprints offering a distinctly clear trail as to his direction once more. The forest here was far thicker, his bow would be nearly useless, shame. The eternally youthful Hunter moves to unstring it readily, sharp gaze cast upon the forest all the same, prepared to react to even the faintest hint of movement should he need to before bolting abruptly from the top of the hill, tearing past Darien's hiding place as he does and yet his focus is momentarily elsewhere. He appears smoothly outside the thicker forest, the place several more worn trails meet before blending into a single track that led to the park, eyes cast downward. The earth here was still flat, untouched, meaning the fairy at not come this far. Hmm. He was hiding then. Most assuredly within the thick forest at the base of the hill or nearby. This was a far more entertaining game. Another rush of speed sees the Hunter appear once more at the base of the hill, the tracks breaking off here, the thicker undergrowth leaving no true shoe prints and yet a distinct lack of sound meant the fairy was nearby.
"You threw a ball at me. Is that the game you wanted to play? Dodgeball? A bit childish of you but I can manage it I suppose."
His right hand rotates, wrist flicking in a single motion that sees the emergence of softly glowing ball of white light in the Hunters hand, one that rapidly grows until it is roughly the size of the red ball the boy had thrown at him. He knows the fairy can hear- if not see him and yet this only further increases his enjoyment of the game as the ball glows softly within his hand.
"Hide-and-seek dodgeball it is then."
There is no fairness to such a game and yet Azrael had given up being 'fair' a long time ago. Perhaps he still had to occasional slip, the moment of weakness in which what remained of his humanity found its way through and yet today there is little chance of that. Today he is focused entirely on his quarry- one for which he holds no pity. He moves slowly, precisely. The boy had to be hiding here somewhere. There were three large trees ahead of him, the only real cover for someone wearing a bright red hat- perhaps one of those. The hunters own ball of light is launched suddenly towards the nearest tree, colliding with the trunk- before exploding into a near blinding flash of light so intense the heat from it is near razing- the tree exploding within seconds, the entire thing reduced to a pile of smouldering ash. Disintegrated into nothingness- several plants around it smouldering weakly as ash reigns from the sky. The fairy however, was clearly not behind it, eyes narrowing slightly in displeasure before he takes aim at the second of the trees. Like its companion the ball of light seems to ignite it, erupting upon it, reducing it to nothing- leaving only one tree now.
"Found you fairy-boy."
A third ball of light is hurled at speed towards the last tree now, the one the man does indeed hide behind, giving the Fae precious little time to leap aside as it explodes. Perhaps the fairy would be disintegrated along with the tree, lose a limb from the explosion, be impaled by a falling branch or if he has managed to dive, then perhaps he has managed to gain some scorch marks for himself from the heat of the assault alone. Azrael truly finds he enjoys all the options his mind considers. If the boy had managed to get clear unharmed however and was still running, well- he'd have to give the fairy a little credit for sheer dumb luck. Surely he hadn't survived that....
