The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Samantha, seeing that the concept of Dark Hunters was certainly a foreign one to the faerie boy beside her, hardly bothered in explaining them any further. After all, Dark Hunters were a fairly new concept to her as well â€" it wasn't until she'd been attacked by them and subsequently saved by Aiden that she'd been aware of their existence. Still, even though she felt no need to explain them further at the moment, she couldn't help but chuckle at his comment, merely shaking her head at the thought. "It's a bit more complicated than that. But I'll explain further when we're safe." She was unaware that the man didn't like the female's touch, though even if she was, she hardly cared in getting him to safety at the moment. It was his own inability to understand the concept of a car that caused Sam her next bit of amusement, chuckling lightly at the concept. "They're really not terrible. They look considerably more terrifying than they are. Some are nicer than others. I'll have to show you some time."
Samantha was positive that her made up title would assuredly strike something within the man, causing her lie to fall through. Everyone knew Narnia was a made up place. Yet the man seemed not to understand that. Instead, he met her with a dip of his head as he acknowledged the girl's apparent title, seeming content to ponder it until the swear slipped from her lips. She turned at the question that he asked, only answering him with a burst of laughter that was decidedly not ladylike. She covered her mouth quickly, though giggles still escaped her lips. She managed to pull him after her and into her apartment building. Once she could get him safely inside her apartment, she'd answer any and all of his questions.
Except... Except the first one he asked, though she was hardly surprised that it had come out of his lips. Samantha turned, giving him a narrowed look. "Not wretchedly. I have a job." She said with a frown. Sure, her apartment hardly looked like much, but considering that she had been homeless for nearly three years after she'd been changed, this might as well have been a mansion. Even the horrible futon she'd gotten at a garage sale for ten dollars â€" and even that was lumpy and had a bar that bit into her back â€" was better than sleeping on the street. Though she'd be the first to admit that some of the better nights sleep she'd had on that futon was when she'd wrapped her body up close to Aiden's â€" though she'd felt terrible in the morning that he'd had to sleep on the bar. It really was no wonder he offered to allow her to sleep at the Ark.
Regardless, Samantha wasted no time in hauling the faerie over to her kitchen, pushing him into a chair without a hint of hesitation and starting over towards the sink. She makes no movement to regard his initial question, though a smirk quirks up on her lip at his shock over her sink. "It's called a faucet. It connects to the pipes," She opened the bottom cabinet, showing him the pipes that connected there. "And the pipes carry water from... I'm not sure. I'll find out for you, though." She shut the cabinet, continuing to her stove to heat the kettle. She chuckled at his next comment. "Technically. It's a stove. I use it to cook."
Settling in front of him, she easily poured the liquid on his feet. She wasn't shocked in the slightest when he jerked away from her touch. "I have to clean the cuts, otherwise they'll get infected. I don't think you'd die from that, but it would be rather unpleasant." She put a hand on his ankle this time, steading it as she used her other hand to wrap gauze around the wounds on both feet. Tying them off with knots, she leaned back and went to wash her hands. "You heal faster than most, but it's still going to be sore for a few hours. As for your head, a shower will clean that up. I'll..." Samantha trailed off, pausing as she looked at him. She was sure that a shower would be completely vexing for him. In the moment, however, she had no idea how to explain the concept.
Shrugging, she remained silent as she finished up the tea, only looking at him again when she settled in front of him with two mugs of the liquid. She pushed the sugar bowl towards him. "I don't know how you take your tea," She mused, allowing her guest to be the one to navigate the sugar bowl first. "I prefer it with sugar, but I won't be offended if you do not." It was only now that she seemed content to answer his latest question to her. "I don't have any," She shrugged, leaving it at that. She saw no reason to further her lie to the man. "And I'm guessing that you don't have a place to stay right now, either? We're a long, long way from Italy. How did you get here?"
