The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. Kato Buhari
Maeve seemed taken aback by Edie's explanation of just how small she was. A trace of worry was in the woman's eyes as she glanced to her brother before back to Edie. Yes, their match was certainly...unconventional. It meant certain things of which were none of Maeve's business to question them on. Instead, all she offered was an olive branch to help welcome Edie. So with the plans made to go to market in the morning she left her brother and his girlfriend to themselves. Kato raised a brow at Edie as she turned about to confront him. "Edie..." He hardly wanted her to go if she felt uncomfortable or afraid doing so. He already felt bad for her waking up by herself after asking him to stay. Arguing with Edie though he had learned was futile so instead let out a resigned sigh. "Ok, I'll just walk you as far as I can go." Well, can go and will go had different meanings but in this circumstance was nearly the same.
Kato was happy for the distraction of the music. Music was one thing that was universal, requiring no translation, and drew people no matter where they came from to enjoy it. He chuckled as Edie practically pulled him back over to the bonfire amongst the twirling and stomping bodies of his herd. Mosi had his smallest brother on his back now and bounced around the couple. Kato had no idea how long they stayed there immersed in the joyous celebration held in the honor of his return. He did however turn in while it was still going on, noting the way in which Edie began to slow indicating she wasn't as rested as she had thought. "Let's get you back to bed." He pressed a kiss to her temple as he led her back towards the hut. His own body was still on a natural high of the celebration and with Edie's soft curves pressed against him, once within the hut, his hands wandered. His touches were hesitant at first, naturally unsure due to the logistics of being back home with hardly any sound barrier between the couple and the outside world. However, the noise of the celebration was sure to drown them out as the man rolled over to cover Edie's body with his own.
The morning had probably arrived too fast for Edie. The first rays reaching out over the grassland accompanied by the sounds of children playing outside the huts having surely been kicked out by their parents at the first sign of stirring. Kato peeled himself away from Edie, "I'll go get us something to eat. I'll meet you in the square in a few minutes." With a quick loving kiss to her lips he slipped from the hut leaving the blanket door pushed aside and open. Kato was hardly down the path of the huts before his mother took the open space in the door of the hut, her gaze easily settling on Edie. "I hear you're going to go to the market with Maeve and her friends...and Kato is going?" It was a simple enough and easy question but one that had Lana pursing her lips in nearly the same fashion Maeve had. "I don't know if Kato told you but...men can't go to the market. I know he'll do anything for you, I see that in how he looks at you, but if you make him go to the market then he'll be breaking culture. You can't be making him break tradition." Slowly she moved another foot into the hut, just enough to breach the entrance completely without fully encroaching upon the space that Edie inhabited by the bed. "He brought you back here which says something, but now that you are here you should assimilate...like Sophia did." And there it was, the beginning of the comparison to Kato's deceased wife.
