The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It was perhaps idiotic for the fox to attempt to mess with the considerably larger feline. But it was so easy to do. The fractured speech the other Beta girl gave her was seen to the fox as little more than a weakness, the girl unaware of the inner turmoil that rattled Nadya. It was that attachment to her children that Edie played at. It was a love Edie could hardly understand. She didn't have children or siblings or anyone she felt remarkably attached to. Her own parents were hardly attached to the girl â€" their desire to keep her from leaving the pack being her relationship with those higher up as a benefit to themselves. Perhaps the only attachment the girl had was to Frost, and that was hardly something the Beta thought of as an asset. She was using Frost. Of that much, she would remain sure of, even if she was growing painfully fond of the man and he of her.
"Your family. If your family cared, perhaps they wouldn't control you. Locked away in the Ark like thi..." Her sentence was cut short by the strike from the feline. In the split second that Edie saw it coming, she attempted to brace herself. But her small body was no match â€" the feline's paw half the size of her, after all â€" and she was sent flying across the upper deck. The strike was painful, though luckily there had been no claws, nothing that would hurt her permanently. Just a bruise on her skin, she was sure. It had been a warning. But to Edie, it was just a show that she was, in fact, getting under the feline's skin. It elated her, even if her body did ache from the impact.
"So you aren't afraid." The girl's words were said with that same fleeting amusement. There was no fear as the feline approached her. Edie was positive Nadya wouldn't seriously hurt her â€" her own association with Frost preventing her from touching Frost's new property, of that much she was sure â€" and that kept the girl fearless as she looked up at the feline, her ears pinned back on her head as she circled her. "You can, but you'll find I'm not afraid." She was positive of her safety, even if the woman seemed determined that she could take care of the fox. A small growl escaped her at the mention of submitting. No, Edie did not submit. She was here on her own terms, having asked Frost for the order to come here. She wanted to see this Nadya herself, and frankly, she wasn't impressed.
"Do they submit to you? Or do they all know that you're only Beta because of your brother? It's a shame, really, that your powers are so wasted on this pack." Continuing to taunt the woman felt tedious, the young fox merely turning away from the feline. She had little to tell Frost other than the mental state of the object of his desires. Turning once more as she walked away, she spoke once more to the feline. "Its fine. If you don't want him, I'll take him. He is awfully sexy, after all." It was a petty taunt, one destined to get a rise out of the girl if she actually cared about Frost in the slightest, and the fox didn't dare move until she got that reaction. She had very little intention of actually leaving at the moment, every bit of her actions focused on getting a rise out of the feline. Frost had told her to get information, but Edie was far more interested in taunting the object of his affections. After all, if Edie would ever submit to the girl who may be her Alpha one day, she had to test to make sure she was worthy of that title. So far, Edie was positive that she wasn't.
