West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Nadya Tetradore

The day of a full moon was always different than the rest. Nadya's whole body felt alive, every sense more heightened. Nadya had already been spending most of her time in feline form and the pack didn't congregate together as others did during full moons so it wasn't exactly a highly anticipated night. She figured she'd do just as she had any other day, invade the kitchen, wander the halls and outer deck, and then climb into bed when the first customers started to arrive. The crowd was certainly rowdier on the nights of the full moon so Nadya didn't wish to be amongst them helping Jackal collect bets tonight.

At least that had been the plan. Nadya was up on the deck basking in the sun come late afternoon when she heard a car rumble up to the docks. It wasn't terribly off for a car to show up but for some reason this one caused her to perk her head up. Slowly she rose and peered through the railing down below to see her adoptive parents climbing out of their black compact, producing the twins from the backseat soon after. It had been a whirlwind of emotions for Nadya upon seeing them as she rushed into the bowels of the ship to shift and change in order to meet them outside. Tears flowed easily from the young mother when she gathered the twins into her arms. "You stopped calling and we got worried." Her mother explained softly as she took in Nadya's less than put together appearance which was an odd thing to her. "Your father and I thought it would be a good idea for the twins to stay here for the night. We'll pick them up tomorrow morning." Nadya stiffened a bit, glancing from the twins to the Ark and back to her mother. "It's not...safe for them." "One night will be ok, Nadya. Come, we'll help you get their stuff inside." Her mother gently stroked Nadya's hair, tucking a lock behind her ear before turning to usher her father to gather the twin's bag.

Nadya was beyond nervous having the twins in the Ark but wouldn't argue with her parents. They were Alpha's in their own pack which meant Nadya would never question them too. Nadya held fast to Micah while her mother took Izzy and her father carried the twin's duffel bag into the Ark. She led them through the empty main room and up the steel steps to the bedroom. "Aiden's room is bigger and he's out for the evening with his girlfriend so we can use his room." Although Aiden never announced when he was staying over at Samantha's, Nadya simply assumed that's where he disappeared too seeing as no business deal ever took that long. Her father was still distracted watching the employees clean down below in preparation for the night, "Aiden has built quite the empire. I'm sorry we missed him; I haven't seen him since he was nearly 10." Nearly 10 and before their biological parents were murdered, pack destroyed, and he was separated and kidnapped. There was an etch of those past memories across his face. The packs had been allies but had arrived too late to save both siblings.

"He...might be here...when you get the...twins tomorrow." Nadya offered to distract him from those thoughts that had made their way into her mind as well. It was mostly her continued odd broken speech that distracted them than the prospect of seeing Aiden again. She led them into her brother's room which was much bigger than the others since it also doubled as an office to one side. Nadya set Micah down on the rug which Tobias loved so much before turning around to hug her mother once she set Izzy down beside Micah. "Oh Nadya, you need to not spend so much time in your form...but we'll talk about that later." Nadya ducked her head, avoiding her mother's gaze for if she did she was afraid that the outpour of troubles that had been plaguing her would come out. The very reason she spent so much time hiding in her feline form to let her primal brain wipe such trivial human emotional worries away.

Nadya spent the last few hours tucked away in Aiden's room with Izzy and Micah. There were plenty of toys packed in the bag that would keep them occupied until their own shift would come later. Now, Nadya sat on the floor with her back against the side of her brother's bed and Micah asleep on her lap straddling her legs and his head using her chest as a pillow. Izzy however, ever the explorative one, had pulled herself onto her feet and was practicing her walking by toddling between each object. She had reached the bookcase and was currently trying to hold herself up and pull down the knickknacks there. "Izzy..." Nadya had to let her ability do the distance parenting since she was stuck in her spot from holding Micah. Luckily she had her gravity ability as it was able to alter each object Izzy attempted and keep it planted firmly in place.
