West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

kissing death and loosing my breath

It was a particularly dangerous game the young witch played, of that she was fully aware. Regardless of this simple fact, she settled hesitantly in front of the wolf, entirely aware of jut how vulnerable of a position she was placing herself within. Finding that bond between them was far more difficult then utilizing any of her other affinities, though it really wasn't terribly surprising, all things considered. After all, it wasn't as if her relationship with the wolverine had been all daisies and roses. Still, they were working on it and making enough progress that Serafina was perhaps willing to risk her life for her companion. Or rather, at least trust her enough that Raven wasn't going to maul her face off. A soft breath left her lips as Serafina slowly reached out, her fingertips brushing against Raven's fur. Touch made finding their connection somehow easier and slowly the girl's eyes flickered closed as she focused the entirety of her attention upon that bond and pulling Raven's consciousness back to her. She was unaware of the way that such dedicated focus caused her control upon her other abilities to waver. She was oblivious to the way those ghostly figures slowly began their forward assault once more. Serafina ignored the growl that reverberated in the lupine's throat as her hold upon the creature' form too loosened. In that moment, the girl found herself hoping against hope that her abilities would be enough - for once.

She felt the creature launch itself from the ground, her eyes immediately fluttering open in panic as the wolf's body collided into her, sending the young witch backwards and into the ground. Her hands rose to her face in an effort to protect her skin from what she was assured would be a vicious assault only to find herself being licked.....sufficiently "Ugh, Raven!" She cried out as the wolf continued...and continued....and continued. "Raven! Come on, Raven! Stop it!" She attempted to shove the lupine off of her though with particularly little success on her own part. In fact, it seemed as if the ghosts she herself had forgotten that had the largest effect on the wolf though even that wasn't in Sera's advantage. The wolf's whimper drew Serafina's inquiring gaze towards her, her eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly before her stormy gaze shifted towards her surrounding and the bodies that so impressed upon them. "Ofph." The witch grunted as Raven attempted to make herself comfortable in her lap, never mind that the creature was far too large for it. "Raven." She muttered softly though this time she hardly made the effort to push the wolf off of her, instead distracted just as much by those ghosts she constantly tried to ignore.

Banishing her spectre companion's was hardly an easy task for Serafina. In general, she tended to choose to simply ignore their existence if only because few had anything meaningful to say beyond wanting vengeance and others simply wanted her company. Talking to thin air was a decidedly unattractive attribute for any young woman and so....Serafina had, up to this point, ignored them entirely. "It'll be okay." She softly reassured her companion, her fingertips gingerly massaging the fur on the top of Raven's skull as her focus turned instead towards placating the ghosts that so demanded for her attention. She allowed their souls into her mind, listening in silence to their wants, needs, woes, and demands and in time, those specretal spirits began to waver with each promise she made to check on their beloved ones or each reassurance that she would discuss it with them later. Eventually, their faces slowly began to fade leaving Serafina with a still feral wolf in the warmth of her livingroom. Talk about an eventful day. Slowly, a breath of relief left her lips as she fell back upon the wooden floor with a groan. "Now what will I do about you?" She inquired to the wolverine still settled in her lap, her gaze slowly traveling down the length of her body towards the face of of the lupine.
