West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Raven was rather good when it came to people watching. After all she did it every night within the Ark. It was a useful talent. It gave her a chance to know her patrons very well. She knew the fighters, she knew their strengths and weaknesses, which meant she had invaluable information when it came to placing bets. Never would she give someone wrong information, in case they decided to retaliate against her or her pack, but she did make the effort to provide honest information. When there was a guest making their first bet, she went out of her way to make sure they placed their bet one the right candidate, wanting them to win their first time. Was it wrong of her to do such a thing? Yes and no. They were here to have a good time. No one had a good time if they lost any money. So, she made sure to give them a break, and get them to spend their money more and more at the Ark. The Ark was a business and she knew what her role was supposed to be.

She did not know why the witch was here within the abandoned warehouse. Yet that didn't make her someone that she was supposed to ignore. She was wary, as always, especially now when the pack was going through a rough time. Months had past and yet they were still grieving, still attempting to process the harsh reality that their beloved Alpha was no more. Curiously her ebony dial would tilt to the side as she observed the woman punching at the bag. Briefly her eyes scanned the area once more ensuring that they were alone. The last thing she wanted to go through was an ambush. Already close enough she left the safety of the shadows and darkness, approaching the witch cautiously, her tail swaying easily behind her as a sign that she was no threat.

She would grow still the moment she noticed the woman turning around sharply, eyes shifting towards the knife that was on her person. She did not want to attack the woman, not unless there was a reason, and she hoped that the woman would steady herself. It was a good thing Tobias wasn't here or else he would have sprung into action and attacked. Instead of showing an aggressive stance, the uniquely colored wolf sat down quietly, like a dog would if it was told to sit and stay still. Gently her voice would press into the witch's mind, her tone calm and friendly, with a brief firm tone.

"I'm not here to harm you. I am just curious as to who you were and what you were doing within our territory."
