West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It shouldn't have amused him and yet it did. The gangly deviant incapable of denying the way in which some part of him, perhaps that currently sleeping part that was in control more often then not, took a delight of sorts in so undoing the woman. In ruining her idea of morals and rightness and good behaviour. He was not inclined to turn her into a hardened criminal, his affections for her were too great for that and yet, nor did he truly have any desire to upset her and yet there was a delight all its own in so seeing the woman let go in allowing her to realise the freedom that could be had, sometimes, in simply existing in the moment as he was so inclined to do. At least in that less then sane form. For all he was it would hardly be denied that, Tobias, of all people, so rarely failed to live an experience to the fullest. Raven, in his opinion, so often held back by her own insecurities. Changing that very nuance of her character would be near impossible and truly there was a benefit to having at least one being of level-headedness around when Tetradore and himself were inclined to see just how far they could push themselves and yet too- it delighted him to see her enjoy herself even if she was not given to realise just how much she seemed to need that space and time. His other side, he supposed, was good at that in the least. In forcing Raven to live. In letting her unravel just enough to free fall before grasping at those supports of the social order and structure she seemed to adore and perhaps he hardly blamed her. Was he himself not bound by that same need for structure? Was he too not merely following a pattern of behaviour? Ah, the irony of it! His lip quirked ever so slightly as his lips brushed her nose, assuring her of their well-being all the same before focusing his attention on those gifts.

It was easy to leap from shelf to shelf. His limber, feline form designed for just that. His rather notable height providing a rather impressive reach that allowed the flexible man to move himself about with clear ease, tossing select packages down one after the other. Tobias pausing to rip the labels off as he did. Stealing was one thing- but stealing from a charity was entirely another. That he was sure, was beyond Ravens moral code. Although really, they had donated far more then any of these gifts would ever be worth. Regardless, what Raven did not know in this instance would surely not harm her. Tobias moving with methodical ease as Raven's own affinity extended to catch those select packages before he at last leapt back to the ground and retracted those leopard-claws. He moved to gather up the boxes efficiently, swinging up and onto his mates back a moment later. He could feel her unease, just as he could feel her heart beat through her sides, that more predatory side of himself finding that thrum almost glorious and yet he hardly allowed himself to dwell on that more animalistic part of himself. That Tobias was not needed tonight. Tonight he needed precision and care and compassion for his companion. Those things that other side of him was not incapable of giving and yet was perhaps, incapable of displaying entirely correctly, one hand settling on the ruff of the wolf's fur if only to offer the silent support once more. He didn't want to ask this off her and yet anything less than attempting this ridiculous heist would only see that other part of him irritable once more. In this way, at least, he had some assurance they were unlikely to get caught. Tobias trusting this side of himself far more than the other.

Raven had readily begun to pace, the shaggy-haired deviant simply remaining still upon her back, affording her that time to consider her own actions and wait for the opening, his lips tightening slightly at more then one missed opportunity and yet had he not told her it was she he believed in? Would it not only fill her with doubt if he sought to try and tell her when to go? It was better she did this herself. The boy falling silent to simply allow her to consider before she suddenly leapt, Tobias grasping her fur hurriedly along with the presents in his arms. He barely had time to grab them once more before she jumped again and again, the young man ducking hurriedly to avoid a laser beam that came far to close for comfort to his shoulder, his head duck another and another before she, somehow, managed to make it to the other side, a grin working its way onto his features, relief flooding his system as his lent forward to press his lips to the top of her head.

"You did well. I knew you could. Now let's get out of here."

He swung from her back then, gesturing for her to return to her human form before reaching for that other do, his weight forced upon that handle until he heard a distinct crack before he pushed it open and slid out into the darkness beyond, holding it open for Raven to join him. It was easy then to stick to the shadows of the warehouse, gliding along until he reached that (stolen) car parked inconspicuously outside. Some things were perhaps better not explained to Raven and truly, tonight, he didn't care to try, the keys fished from his pocket to unlock it, those presents tossed onto the back seat before he moved to swing open that passenger side door for her with a single raised eye. The keys were spun easily about one finger, as if he handled car keys all his life before sliding into the driver's seat, shifting gears and effortlessly driving the car forward, one hand on the wheel, the other resting on the window in a truly laconic fashion despite the notion that he had, before, never been allowed anywhere near the driver's seat of a car. This side of himself perhaps more capable then any had truly realised as he shifted gears once more to pull away from the West and towards the South, heading outside the city, further and further from those lights and higher up into those hills with a singular goal in mind. His features frowning slightly once more.

"You know- I didn't know I could drive? Apparently I can."

There is something almost cheeky to those words, a knowing look within the golden hue of his eyes as he drives them only further upward, one hand guiding that car with ease until he reaches just the spot he desired, the car pulled into that vacant lookout above the city- a veritable lightshow occurring below and stretched out before them. Tobias half given to wonder if Birdie had ever been here before or whether Tetradore had truly only ever brought him. The irony of that almost amusing. Tonight however, he had so desired to share that place with his own girlfriend, Tobias turning off the car to come around and open the door for her, letting her out onto the clifftop and above the city with its lights gleaming below.

"Hey, Birdie?"

His words were no more than a distraction, aimed to throw her off guard as he suddenly stepped forward to scoop her up into his arms with a chuckle, placing her onto the bonnet of the car before swinging up to sit beside her, that grin still in place, their legs resting atop the car- one arm pulling her against him.

"See? I can do this date thing. I showed the other guy up right?"

His words were teasing entirely, knowing entirely well that other side of him had given her a date just as memorable before smoothly drawing her lips to his own right then and there so high above the city.
