West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

It had been long, far too long since Raven allowed herself a moment to simply let go. Underneath her controlled exterior deep down there was a ferocious creature that was eager to be released. For too long she allowed her predatory side to be locked up. Even when she participated in hunts with her pack or mate she did not allow herself to go this far. In a way Raven was terrified of this other side of her. It reminded her far too much of when she was like when she went feral. It was natural for her to crave the use of her predatory skills, and yet she was worried all the same. Fighting in the ring might increase her inability to keep herself in control. What if she harmed the opponent terribly enough to cause far too much pain or worse death? What if being in the fighting ring triggered her feral state? If she fell into that state then not only would her opponent be in bad shape, but she would endanger the lives of the patrons that watched. It would bring her far too much shame to know she killed or mauled others when they didn't deserve to be harmed in the first place. But what if she was the one that was harmed? What if she was the one that was beaten into a bloody, useless pulp? It would be mortify her if she was incapable of winning, let alone, keep herself from being beaten. To be the mate of Tobias and member of the Nightshade pack it wouldn't look good if she couldn't meet them on the same caliber. Not to mention it would give everyone the opportunity to know her secret...to know she could not heal as rapidly as the others in their kind. It was a weak point she did not wish for others to know, only those she trusted completely would know...and hopefully never use that against her.

Raven wouldn't admit it, but was rather enjoying the savagery. Attacking the offending lupine was absolutely satisfying! Feeling her teeth sink into the others skin, tearing through it with such a vigorous manner. The heavy adrenaline that stuck in the air seemed to only encourage the lupine to continue attacking in her frenzy. The bond between herself and her spotted companion had always been strong, but now that they were in an environment where they had to protect one another only intensified. For so long she kept her animalistic side locked tightly underneath her that it was difficult for the woman to take control of herself. At this point in time she didn't care how much damage she was giving. All she knew was that she and her mate were endanger and she needed to do whatever she could to ensure they were safe. Through their bond she could feel his own animal instincts kick in, his predatory urges became her own. Whether he was manipulating her in this way, or not, it couldn't be sure. What was understandable, as that Raven was not happy with the lupine beneath her and she wanted nothing more than to harm the lupine and put her in her place. It was the bull moose that led Raven to leaving the lupine and running around the ring to keep herself from being trampled upon or reamed by his antlers. While Tobias was dealing with the massive prey animal, Raven watched and waited. Knowing she needed to do what she could to assist her mate, but at the same time needing to take out the other lupine once and for all.

Finding the lupine snapping at her mate's tail she bolted towards the lupine. Angered that she would dare attempt to attack her mate. His tail was his favorite appendage, Raven knew, and it would be a shamed if it was ruined. Snarling she bit into the she-wolf once more, this time tearing into her throat in a despicable manner. The way the other girl whined and whimpered did not pull any sympathy strings from Raven. Rather she snarled in return giving the girl no mercy. She had meant what she told to Tobias. A lesson would be learned tonight. Hearing Jackal's shout that the other lupine was defeated and done, it didn't cause Raven to stop. Instead she continued if only for a moments, until the she-wolf slinked away, humiliated and defeated. The sounds of the roar coming from the audience around the ring were ignored as blue-grey eyes looked for her mate. Finding him circle around she watched him carefully, the girl breathing heavily attempting to catch her breath. The feel of his tail brushing against her was enough for the girl to wag her tail for a moment, watching him carefully, taking note that he was prancing for her, and her alone. Her dial would rise slightly she took a step towards him nodding her head in an encouraging manner. After all it was only natural for her to be attuned to her strong and healthy mate. It is when the bull moose charges at them that catches her off guard. Scrambling to move away she feels his hoof slam into her side causing the poor girl to yelp in surprise as she is flung across the ring. Landing upon the ground she slides until she stops.

For a moment she stays down. The she-wolf stunned. The wind knocked out of her. Slowly she begins to stand up, the lupine shaking for a moment on her grey paws. Her dial lifted slightly to see her mate scratch at the moose's face, getting him to not focus on him as he dove to wrap around his front legs. Slowly she began to stalk towards the moose, bloody black lips to reveal her sharp bloodstained teeth, as a dark thunderous growl rumbled deep within her chest. Still sore from his hoof impacting her side, she attempted to keep herself steady as she got closer. The moose attempted to flung her mate off, and yet he was hanging on tight with his teeth and claws. Finding the moose leaving her a wide opening to attack, she attempted to charge as fast as she could leaping upwards as she aimed for his jugular. Unforgivingly she latched her teeth right onto his jugular, tightening her jaw as she bit into it, feeling the large prey animal fall down. Angrily she began to snap all up and down his neck, constantly stabbing him with her teeth as she put more pressure on his shoulder growling as she continued to attack in her frenzy. It wasn't until she heard his screams and the shouting coming from Jackal stating they won did she finally stop. Once more she breathed heavily still standing atop the moose, glaring down upon him. There were no words that needed t be spoken to him. He knew quite well he was beaten. Walking off of him she headed over to her mate slamming her dial into his own, rubbing her bloodied maw across his cheek and down his neck, letting it rest along his shoulder. While the crowds roared in delight her mind was growing hazy and still, finding a peace she hadn't felt in so long. Softly her voice pressed into his own, pleased that she had managed to overcome the fear she had from participating in the first place.

"We can leave the ring now, yes? Where can we go?

It was imperative that she decompress elsewhere...they both needed a moment to calm down.
