The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

That small, nearly dingy appearing store had been particularly busy today. With the presence of Mother's Day just around the corner, her clientele expanded in the fashion it so usually did before any sort of holiday where gift giving was an expectation. They came for essential oils and herbs, for incense sticks and amulets. Anything to promote happiness and health and prosperity. The majority of such things were entirely foolish in nature and yet, occasionally, one of her genuine artifacts would be sold to some unsuspecting patron who wish to spend money on something of actual value for their significant other. Beyond those mortal clientele, that storefront had also become a sort of gathering place for those in the afterlife beyond. Those ghosts haunted the nooks and crannies of her store, leaving the young woman to juggle them just as much as she did their mortal counterparts. The past few days, her store had become the resting place for an elderly ghost, one who both refused to tell Serafina exactly what she wanted without entirely leaving either. Rather, the woman remained poised at that bench in front of the window, informing her of every time a customer was about to walk in.
For the most part, the young witch fully ignored that spector beyond the occasional nodd of acknowledgement. Though she might have bordered on an annoyance, the ghost was perhaps one of the less invasive ones she'd dealt with. She glanced up from her efforts to count the money within her till as the woman hissed softly from her perch upon the window. "He's still there." She'd been muttering this all day and so, while it was nothing new, per say, Serafina could hardly help the exasperated sigh that left her lips. She moved the rest of the till into that safe in the back workshop, pausing to lock the door before she pivoted on her feet. "Who is still there?" The young woman inquired, pausing in front of that door to glance out on the busy street beyond. "He is! RIght there!" Her stormy eyes followed that pointing finger to a figure hidden on the opposite side of the street, the girl only barely able to make out that brown trenchcoat in the gloom of the rain overhead. "Well, I doubt he's here for either of us. Why don't you keep an eye on him and I'll be back tomorrow." She offered, attempting to placate the old woman before she stepped out of that store, closing and locking it behind her.
She paused just over the threshold of her shop's door, opening that black umbrella to protect her from the near torrent overhead. Though water was still very much her element, putting the young witch at ease, she detested the idea of being soaked to the Bone by time she got to her townhouse. It was with the accompaniment of the steady thrum of the rain upon that canvas material that she finally stepped away from the protection of that small overhang above her door. She joined the crowd of people that still wandered through those rain laden streets, the girl took that shortcut she always did through the darkness of the park. Although the simple fact of being a young female alone in the darkness should have deterred her, she found comfort in the Earth as much as she did the rain. A soft breath of contentment left her lips, start until the sight of brown from her peripheral vision so ruined that placidity. No, he wasn't following her. It had to just be that paranoid woman's mutterings getting the best of her, surely. Still, she supposed she couldn't be too careful. A small frown marred her fair features as she purposefully turned down a street she normally wouldn't. Serafina crossed at that crosswalk, moving back up the very road she had just moved down. And yet, as she turned her head in a feigned effort to glance at the building across the street. He was definitely still there.
There was a certain firmness that entered her gaze, the girl purposefully turning onto a street she often avoided simply because of how populated it was. It was easy to get herself lost in that crowd, to slip into one of the alleyways between those older buildings. She pressed the little latch on her umbrella, holding it more akin to a bat then the umbrella it was. It took a measurable amount of concentrate to coat those water resistant materials with her ice and yet, with some moments of thought, she was fully capable of doing just that. Serafina leaned up against that building, her gaze turned towards the entrance of that alleyway, waiting for that figure in brown. She saw him stop just a few feet past her hiding place, awarding her that opportunity she'd been looking for. She stepped out just enough to grab at his collar, near dragging the man into that alley with all the strength the lithe girl possessed. "What do you -- Brennan?! What the fuck are you doing here?!?!" She exclaimed, staring at that face that, though aged, was decidedly familiar to her. Well, this was a hugely unexpected twist.
