West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

There are many reasons why I don't like being a horse. I'm a prey animal. Who the hell wants to live out their days with their other half being a creature that is nothing more than a hearty meal for any and all predators? No one. If I went and asked random people whether or not they would prefer to change into a prey animal or predator, I am sure they would choose some meat-eating critter...that is they are interested in answering such questions. After all some people might think I was rather strange for asking such a question in the first place. I honestly don't know so much about my other half when it comes to fighting an animal that is not a horse. How the hell am I supposed to take on a ram? He has horns and speed. I could have speed if the ring was large enough for me to run. All I have is weight and teeth. Oh and hooves, I have hooves. Thank you Mister Kitty King for reminding me I have hooves, hooves are absolutely useless in this situation, if I had claws that would be much better. Hooves, hooves are so...well I'll be damned, I have hooves that are much larger than dinner plates.

All right. I have hooves, really big hooves that I need to use against this ram...a ram that happens to be charging at me. Well great, just great. I need to stay away from those horns, yes do that first then figure out the hoof thing later. Quickly I take a few side steps over to the left and allow the ram to run right into the ropes, watching his body slam into it and then bounce off it. I cannot help, but laugh. I know I shouldn't, but it is kinda funny and by the sound of the crowd laughing around me I guess I'm not alone. Okay so ram is down on its side. Good, but it's getting up. Shit. Still haven't figure out what I'm supposed to do with these hooves. I could kick. Yea! I could kick him let's try that. I head on over to him and strike out my right front hoof into his head and he goes down. Curiously I lower my head and nudge him with my big nose just to make sure he's fine. I can see his nose wiggle so I know he is breathing. Good. So I'm done right? I walk away from him with my back turned, my ears flickering back and forth unsure what I'm supposed to do now. I can hear them shouting, but I can't really make out what they are saying, really do they all have to scream and shout? I turn my head around to find the man, hoping he'd give me a sign on what to do next when suddenly I feel something plow right into my back legs.

With a surprised squeal I fall to the ground. Well what the hell was that? As I struggle to get up I can see Mister Ram backing up behind me, pawing the ground as he gets ready to run into me again. Nope, not this time buddy. I manage to pick myself up again and this time bear my teeth at him, as I paw the ground too. With a rough snort my ears lace backwards as I scream out my challenge, urging him to come. As he charges at me again this time lowering his head, fully committed to his attack, I left my upper half as I allow my front hooves to slam into his body. Instantly he goes down, but I'm not quite done with him yet. I side step again, getting closer to him as he tries to get up, only to go back down as I slam my hooves into his body again, ignoring the sound of something cracking. I do this a few more times until he doesn't move to get up. I quickly take a step back quite unsure with myself now. I think I won, I can't really hear anything, the only thing I can hear is my heart pounding. I look for the green-eyed man, searching for a sign at least of what to do next.
