Now that everyone and everything was going back to a familiar routine it gave them time to do other things. It was still a bit difficult for the young woman to accept that Tetradore was really and truly alive. It still didn't seem believable. No one came back from the dead. It simply wasn't possible. And if this was a ruse, if this was a trick, then she would make sure he paid dearly for their treacly. The longer she watched him, the longer he stayed the more she felt comfortable in believing that it was really him. It still didn't make sense and maybe she ought to simply accept it. After all he did admit something to her on the night he returned, something she was assured no one else knew about. The invitation to spend another night with him, a promise he had told her before he died, was a sure sign as any that Tetradore was really who he said he was. She had never heard of Yellowstone National Park, but after a few days of research, she almost knew everything she possibly could about the place, and she had one particular spot in mind.
Tobias calendar remained pinned against the wall, each day slashed with a red marker. Why it was like that, she had no idea, but she had been mentally counting the day until it would be her time to go on an adventure with her Alpha. Earlier that day she spent as much time as she possibly could with her mate to make up for the time that would be lost tonight. With Jackal taking Tobias back down towards the ring it gave the woman enough time to grab some of the paper she printed to show the different natural attractions that made Yosemite a wonderful place to visit. Quietly she opened Tetradore's door, casually walking in and quite incapable of having a bounce in her step. Placing the paperwork carefully on his desk that showed meadows, mountains, and hot springs she looked up at him expectantly a small smile appeared as she spoke excitedly, her words tumbling out in a mad dash.
For a moment the eager and anxious person went very quiet for a moment, as if she realized she acting out of the ordinary. Of course her Alpha must have something in mind on where they were going to go and do. After all he was the one that had the idea in the first place to go to the National Park. Nervously she bit her lip as her she quickly grabbed her fingers and began to twist and turn around them, lowering her dial slightly to hide her face as her scarred cheeks flared to a soft pink. She had missed him, far more then perhaps anyone would understand. How could she not? They may have never been close, and it was perhaps mostly her fault, but she was willing to try, now that she was given a second chance. He may be her Alpha, and be her mate's best friend, but that didn't mean he was just those things, he could be perhaps more, maybe a trusted friend for both. Muttering softly she shyly spoke up.
