The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

That deviant boy was oblivious, truly, to the sheer effect those stuttered words had held upon his favoured companion and yet, for all Tobias surely was- and was not- openly dishonest was hardly one of them. Indeed, that shaggy hired deviant so had a manner of saying exactly what he thought of anyone and everyone, his lack of ability to empathize in most situations assuring he was nothing if not blunt with those revelations on his opinion. His words nothing short of that simply true in that moment. He did not want Tetra to die again. He did not want to be left behind again nor spend those months waiting each and every day and night for the man to return. Tobias nothing if not almost painfully steadfast in his loyalty and that single belief that his companion would not leave without him. Not to a place he could not follow. Tobias hardly afraid to say those words that others were or indeed even Tetradore himself had perhaps not expected to hear. The boy nothing if not almost innocent in those simple admittances. After all, to him, it was simply the way it was. He needed Tetradore and it hardly occurred to him that his companion might not understand the truth of such a thing, or at least, had not, until that moment in which Tobias so declared he did not want to lose him again. The boy lacking any true ability to verbalise those....emotions that so came with it. His mind hardly made for such complex thought. The man simply believing Tetradore understood it- and perhaps he did. That clearing of Tetra's throat and assurance to be careful met with a nod once more.
"I will."
Those words were uttered without stutter and indeed at sort of...solemness that was all-together rare for the boy. His attention shifted readily downward then to those pedals, the manner in which the other man so attempted to compare the car itself to a woman so seeming to ensnare the boys attention in the least. His mind capable of grasping those comparisons on some level as his features frowned in that ready concentration. His fractured mind so attempting to piece together those words within his own limited vocabulary, the comparison of one thing to another at last seeming to achieve that comprehension even despite the slow manner in which his mind seemed to piece them together. His thought process, after all, was distinctly unlike any other being. Tobias so content to view the world ina fashion unique to himself and one that so few outside Tetradore and Raven seemed to understand let alone appreciate. He was hardly stupid in any sense, rather, his manner of decision making was simply different. His very humanity at times seeming ensnared within those animalistic tendencies until instinct, rather than thought, seemed to dictate his actions and yet for Tetra alone the man seemed willing to try and harness his own concentration. Tobias so forcing those pathways to align in an effort to please his companion. After all, despite himself, there was truly little Tobias so desired more than those moments spent with just Tetradore and himself the way it had once been when they were small. His own inability to perceive time perhaps limiting his understanding of their changing ages. The world much the same to him and yet he had come too value those moments with Tetradore more than he valued near anything else.
His gaze flicked from those pedals to the dashboard, those lines and colours readily fascinating to the boy, his mind so adoring lines off every kind if only for the way they continued without break. His thoughts given to obsess over them if given the chance. Birdie so having been forced to remove just about every map within the Ark lest Tobias become fixated upon it as he was wholly prone to do. His fingers near obsessed with tracing those lines over and over. His head tilting now as Tetradore pointed between those gauges before making some effort to explain that, just like in their video games, if certain lines were crossed the car would not drive and the game would end. The feline frowning readily at that assurance. He disliked when those games ended! Another huff of sorts passing his lips before declaring those lines to be 'death lines' that so brought about the death of their car and the loos of a life as it did in that video game world, those dark eyes glancing upward to assure himself he was correct as Tetradore nodded readily. That murmured assurance seeing his lips pull into a grin in pleasure at his own correctness.
It was only once that explanation was finished that Tobias moved to at least attempt to follow those instructions, his foot lifting from the break only for the car to crawl slowly forward, that utter glee at even this small movement surely clear upon his face before his foot moved to that gas pedal. It took only the smallest amount of pressure it seemed, to send that car plunging forward, Tobias yet to fully comprehend just how slight that pressure was as the car raced forward only for the boy to near immediately slam his foot back against the break and bring them to a screeching, jerking stop. His own form was caught by that seatbelt and his hands upon the wheel, Tetradore so unfortunately forced to grab that handle and cling to it. Tobias promptly declaring that car to be nothing short of a bitch. The boy so readily having learned exactly when to apply that word in the least. The emerald-eyed man's assurance he need only try again, but gentler, saw the car creep forward once more. Tobias slowly releasing that break only to barely place his foot on that gas, the sheer effort with which he was attempting to be gentle near seeing his foot shake as the car slowly increased its speed. His hands turned readily on the wheel, that turning motion alone seeming to delight him as he made several small circles up and down that tarmac.
Tetradore's hand reached for that wheel then, straightening up that car to place it within those lines, Tobias managing to hold that wheel straight, at least for a few moments- his gaze flicking towards those lane lines now as that car continued to drive slowly forward. His glee at driving surely clear before that explanation saw him frown once more. Stay in the lane? The lane that was Tetradore's side? This, it seemed, was perhaps slightly beyond his mental reach in that moment. Tobias directing that car towards the nearest dashed line only to drive atop it. That deviant so assured he was following those instructions by remaining on the line itself before Tetradore's assurance he could cross those dashed lines, but not the solid ones, saw his head tilt.
"Cross.....dash lines."
Those words were little more than a murmur, Tobias suddenly proceeding to turn that car, the boy weaving in and out of those dashed lines to do just as Tetradore had said- crossing the dashed lines. The idea of lanes, it seemed, perhaps a concept the deviant was yet to understand. His ability to steer, in the least, surprisingly well intact before the boy swung abruptly back into the centre as that line became solid. Tobias driving atop it again now, that grin upon his features, the boy assured he was nothing short of masterful in his driving now. That first turn within the airstrip was readily approaching then, Tobias's hands gripping that wheel more tightly in some clear sign that he had, at least, seen that turn, the line he was following making a sloping arc to the left before abruptly disappearing. Tobias slowly begun to turn that wheel, the car easing gently to the side, his foot pressing perhaps a little too much upon that gas pedal by accident, the car jerking slightly forward, a yelp leaving his lips as his hands jerked that wheel too far to the left in response, that lack of a line to follow seeming to undo him entirely. That car veered suddenly sideways and off that road onto the grass strip. Tobias so unfortunately keeping his foot on accelerator, his hands clutching that wheel so tightly his knuckles where nearly white as it drove along that grass strip, sand and grass flying out behind them.
"Tetra.....line is gone! Line....gone!"
Well- at least they were going straight.
