The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Vhalla had found herself wandering throughout Sacrosanct nearly all day. She hadn't returned to her quarters since arriving home, she merely wanted to take the time to visit her old haunts. She was determined to seek out Tetradore and some point in the next few days as she was certain he thought she might be dead, possibly, the woman still wasn't sure what had happened after she vanished. He very well could be thankful she was gone from his life, she did disappear all those months ago after their last encounter. And even when Ivan sent her off to travel the world, she found herself glancing back in the direction of the city at the ending of every day. The witch didn't expect herself to leave a part of herself here and yet, here she was again, patrolling the streets looking for that familiar figure.
Sighing, she feels her mind contemplating on just what she wanted to do for the evening, snuggling into her sweater as that autumn breeze reaches up and tussles through her unbound hair. It was a sight to see Vhalla outside of her usual suit, instead she had clad herself in tight black jeans, knee-high boots and a chunky sweater. In her travels across the world she had come to rely on her magic as her weapons instead of those daggers she wielded with such ease. Still, no matter how hard she practiced, she couldn't get the teleportation down. She had found herself in multiple burned clearings as her temper seemed to still be linked with her fire affinity, though she was certain Dorian might be proud at her accomplishments.
Grunting at the memories, she halts in her walk through the shady part of town, her blue eyes catching sight of that familiar bar she had so frequented before leaving. Hesitating, it takes her only a moment to decide if she wants to enter. Shrugging, she had time to kill anyways, she pushes through the front door, her usual swagger replaced with such calmness that eluded the assassin before, she moves towards the bar with ease. Her eyes falling on a familiar set of locks almost immediately, she pauses brows shooting up in surprise. Vhal hadn't intended to seek him out yet but here he was. Of course, he would be in the same hell-hole she would be.
The witch almost chuckles to herself at the coincidence and finds herself quickly changing her direction to take up the seat next to the man she had thought about through those long and lonely nights. She wasn't surprised to see that brooding he so often wore. Letting her fingers dart out to pluck a fry from his plate, "You know, you're going to get wrinkles if you keep on making that face," she grins devilishly at him, her eyes holding a light that had never been there before. Quickly eating the stolen fry, she crosses a leg over the other and fully turns to him, "It's been awhile Tetty," she comments, pushing her loose locks over her shoulder, cheeks flush from the cold.
As her mind drifts back to their last encounter, she suppresses a cringe. The woman had left on a... worrisome note. Whether the man searched for her or not the assassin was unaware. That very day the tug in her abdomen came at full force and she wasn't allowed to return home to retrieve any belongings, not that she had many to begin with. Ivan had sent her across the world to dispatch some of his targets, it was work that she found harder and harder to do, to the point she flat out disobeyed the vampire and allowed several of the targets to escape. It was getting easier to push those boundaries with the vampire, even when she knew the punishments would be severe, she didn't... fear it as she once did.
