West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

That idea of the East Gardens, it seemed, was one his young fiance was readily willing to take up. Tobias himself hardly assured of what did or did not make a wedding venue suitable other then the notion that the Ark was not exactly what anyone would call romantic. The beach that lined those western shores equally as uninspiring with its smell of fish, exposure to the elements and the likelihood that most of their guests would be tipping sand out of their shoes and clothing for days afterward. Tobias attempting to consider a place without sane, anything that smelled unpleasant and somewhere that provided some measure of shelter just in case some storm decided to roll in. The idea of getting wet was so decidedly disdainful to him, even in this state of mind, that his features readily shifted into a scowl at even even the thought. Those eastern gardens though, with those glass sculptures and manicured lawns and flowers surely counted as romantic thought, didn't they? Women throughout the ages eternally seeming besotted with flowers in one sense or another. Tobias, in truth, hardly caring for where they were married so long as Raven herself took pleasure from that day. The woman commenting that Tetradore had already assured her that he himself would pay. Tobias allowing his eye to lift ever so slightly. That soft sound of amusement tugging at the back off his throat.

"If Tetradore is paying we might as well have it in Hawaii or Switzerland or some other exotic place- since he is so generous and all."

He could almost picture Tetradores face even now at that announcement that they wished to have an international sort of wedding. His thoughts distracted only by Raven patting the top of that shaggy mop of hair as those escalators raised her higher then himself. Very few beings capable of patting the top of his head at all. His eyes rolling softly in amusement at that look he was afforded before they reached that platform. Tobias willing enough to allow himself to be led now, his gaze wandering briefly across those shops. The man readily sensing that shift in his companion as they passed that babywear store, his own golden gaze glancing down at the infant in the pram as it passed before lifting them once more to Raven. The way the woman's eyes roamed that store hardly missed in any sense as his own features frowned. Had they discussed this? Truly he would have had no real idea if they had. At least, he hardly recalled it. Did Raven want a family? So soon? Then again, was it really....soon in any sense? They had been together for years. That family a logical progression after marriage and yet truthfully he had given the idea little thought if only because off how many 'what ifs' that situation presented them.

He was hardly opposed to children in any sense and yet how on earth would they manage? They would surely have the pack support to some extent and yet still, he himself was hardly ever....around. That other side of him hardly capable of raising a child at all, let alone even keeping an infant safe for any extended period of time. Raven would be the near soul provider of everything that child needed in every way. Would it not be yet another burden upon her when she already cared for so much? Was he supposed to think of a child as a burden? Yet to, those maternal instincts, for some women, knew so few bounds and truly he hardly blamed them. If Raven desired to, one day, be a Mother then who was he to deny her that? Even if he feared for what limited paternal support he might be capable off offering. His words hesitant then as he made some effort to broach that topic as delicately as he was able. Raven wringing her fingers nervously before speaking. His fiancee, it seemed, sharing his own concerns for that limited amount of time he might have to offer their growing family and yet it was that suggestion that their differing species surely made them incapable of that reproduction that saw him frown once more. How very untrue that was. Did she truly not know?

Her hand reaching for his own saw his own thoughts shift then, the woman hurriedly moving to assure him it was ok, that they had a family all their own even without any children. That soft simper tugging at his own lips and yet still those thoughts played on his own mind. Was she truly happy with that? He allowed himself to be led into that store then, the woman's sincere determination to buy him a ring taking over his thoughts then as she queried after just what he wanted. Had there always been this many choices in ring stores? The man finding himself almost overwhelmed by the options as he dismissed the idea of gold readily. There was only a risk of losing that. Surely platinum was a better choice? That lack of silver making it suitable for him all the same. Tobias following her over to that display case then, his eyes running over those options then.

"No grooves, I'll never stop fiddling with it."

His lip tugged upward slightly, the man well aware of that habit his other side had to fiddle with things when given the chance. His attention resting upon that first ring with the dark finish around the center. That two-toned ring near reminding him off himself. His finger pointing to it now.

"I like that one, what do you think?"

He inquired simply. Tobias pausing to allow her to examine it as one hand lifted to run through his own dark hair, the man appearing almost contemplative now. His mind near full of so many thoughts in that moment he hardly knew which one he wanted to take on first. God how he missed this ability for clarity. Those words coming abruptly then.
"It is possible, you know, for us to have children. It's harder, the rates are lower- but it's possible. There is a lot more to consider beyond just that, when it comes to us, but before you make a choice on what you want for us you should know what's possible."

He hardly knew what he wanted in any sense and yet no part of him saw any kindness in allowing Raven to believe she could never have that family. Even if she hardly desired children all the same she should still know of the possibility. His gaze lifted briefly to her own then before returning to that ring display. As if such information was hardly as significant as it surely was.
