It wasn't often that Raven was able to converse with another when it came to books. Dorian was still working on the list of proposed books he ought to read, ones she assumed would take quite a while for him to finish. She was eager to discuss those books with the Italian King, over tea and biscuits, curious to see what he would say and what he would like and not. After all he was many centuries years old, he still saw things quite differently, in an age she did not know, and could not connect with. Every now and then she was able to talk to Alexis' about some of the books Raven had given her to try. Talking to Alexis about them made her happy, it gave her the chance to take a step back and see what her friend saw, she was always interested to understand why she thought the way she did. It gave the two of them to connect on a lighter note. The connection between one another shouldn't always be what grief they shared in their past. Quietly she poured the woman her own cup of tea, sending it over to her, knowing that she might enjoy this tea, even if it was sitting in a golden cup. It was still ridiculous that he even gave her such a present, a golden tea set. That offer for Alexis to accompany her tonight was answered with a small simper as she muttered softly.
"I wouldn't mind you coming along. We might have some fun."
It would do the two of them some good to run around the West side. Of course they would be serious with their task, but they would manage to try to have some fun along the way. Raven had been working on making her shadows into recognizable shapes. The she-wolf was assured she would be able to make a little fox version, one that could scamper alongside Alexis', as Raven wouldn't be able to keep up with her. Taking a sip of her tea she placed her cup back on the table as she questioned her about the male she had been spending some time with. She had seen him mostly at the café, but she hardly ever saw him hanging around on this side of town. Although Alexis' often carried his scent on her. Leaning more into her comfy chair she looked over at the woman as she settled herself in the other chair. With small yawn she nodded in agreement to Alexis suggestion that they all meet. Although the thought of Tobias meeting a Dark Hunter may not go well, but if Alexis trusted him then maybe Tobias could be encouraged to trust him too.
"I will try to make sure Tobias' behaves...as best he can.
Raven Cain.
