West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

How he abhorred that smell of smoke that filled his nostrils and polluted his lungs. There were distinctly few times within his life that he was ever surrounded by fire out of control and none of which had ever ended particularly well for the Alpha. He could hardly help the cough that racked his frame as his body so desperately sought pure, unadulterated air, the man entirely unprepared for that abrupt and sudden change to the space around them. For a moment, he gasped on the very purity of the breath Alexis had given them, the smoke billowing around her shield in a wholly visible manner as the flicker of red, orange, and gold could be seen just outside the warehouse. The fire was closing in on them, and fast. For a moment he simply focused on steading his breath as his mind quickly sought for some sort of escape. Alexis seemed to turn towards him for answers and yet...was this not his role as Alpha? His brows furrowed as he considered some means for escape, only to inquire how she had gotten in here in the first place. Immediately, she turned in place, searching diligently for....something. That soft gasp and point of her finger immediately drew his emerald eyes as the Were-King followed the young girl towards the wall. Already he could see the smoke billowing through that small hole and yet, it surely let to the outside. "Alexis just....go." He insisted, hardly concerned for himself or his own well being. After all, he could still get out the way he got in...with some level of concentration.

A soft breath left Tetradore's lips as he reached for his own affinity, the Alpha remaining where he was only as long as it took for Alexis to wiggle safely out of that small hole. He was unwilling, after all, to attempt that teleport before he had seen to her safety. It was only once he was left within the warehouse alone that he beckoned those shadows to him, the man attempting his best to focus upon the outside of the warehouse that he'd pointed out to Alexis. Those shadows swirled around him, faltering, almost at his distraction and yet, his hesitation hardly lasted long before that too embraced him, teleporting the Alpha outside of that warehouse. A disgruntled glimpse crossed his features as he glanced at the burning warehouse just behind him. "Come on, Alexis....let's get out of here before any Hunter's notice us." He muttered under his breath, the Alpha entirely annoyed that those Dark Hunters were so determined to see to his demise. He had every intention of having a word with his own grandfather about this. Alexander, he suspected, would hardly take to kindly to himself nearly being burned alive...much less...Alexis. Oh yes, he'd noticed the Macedonian's scent on her too, even if he had yet to address it. "I could use a drink after that...how does that sound?" He inquired, glancing at the woman beside him as he led her further away from that burning building - the rest of his cargo engulfed by those flickering flames.
