West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

How absolutely adorable this woman was! Ray was smitten with her, the accented words so out of place in their grungy scene - the beautiful blonde woman practically lighting up the entire bar. The stranger questions Ray, and in response, she merely flashes her a wide grin - pushing her pink locks over her shoulder. "I get that a lot," she responds, "Life is short, why not make it worthwhile?" She states rhetorically before taking a sip of her beer. Introducing herself quickly, she extends her hand to be met with warmth - only for those accented words to fall on her ears once more. Ray can't hardly contain the grin as she watches Audette, pulling her hand away after their introductions were over. "It's very nice to meet you! I like your name - you remind me of the Swan Princess," she offers a smile. It was true... if there was a real life version of Audette from the Swan Princess it would be her. She's about to continue the conversation but is distracted by the man that sits down on the other side of Audette - Ray's attention captured for the moment. Reaching towards him to get his attention, her elbow knocks the woman's glass over.

Of course she just had to spill a drink on him. Not that she was normally clumsy... the drink had simply been in the wrong place at the right time as she had reached across to get the man's attention. How very.... convenient? No, it definitely wasn't convenient. At least she had his attention now. It was all she could to do to keep herself from forcefully smacking her forehead with the palm. Swiftly retrieving a towel from the bartender, she hands it to the man successfully invading the woman's space as she leans across her. Wincing, she watches the dark haired man beneath lashes as she gauges his response. Despite his frantic clean up of the drink he didn't seem terribly upset. Interesting. Ray was certain if the roles were reversed she might have a few choice words to say but instead she was the one apologizing profusely. "Ahhh, I'm sorry again," as she hands over the towel before returning her attention to her newly found French friend.

"Here," she gives the bartender the towel before sitting back into her seat, cringing at the aftermath of the mess. "I'm sorry I stained your pants Audette," she frowns at the splash on her jeans. Shaking her head, "Well, I guess I now have your undivided attention," she sighs before releasing an airy laugh. What she doesn't expect is the man to simply engage in conversation with them. Brows arched in astonishment, she waves it off after a moment as Audette's lovely voices answers first. Yes, that would explain it. She was new! Maybe she didn't know the city very well. "I actually work here," she says with a tilt of her head, "It's my night off so I just came in for a drink and got a show out of it too," she laughs, "We don't often have live performances so that was kind of cool. Oh and, that was a really good performance! How long have you been singing?"

She pauses for a moment before she turns on Audette, "Also, I'd be happy to show you around - this side of town is a little sketchy so I'm happy to show you the nicer parts of the city," she offers, a genuine smile gracing her lips.
