Nadya had never been caught before with her sleight of hand, unless you counted the fruit vendor a long while ago when she lifted an apple. So the sudden sound of another certainly startled her into tossing the evidence of her theft. When she discovered it was simply a human, hardly a thought was given to running or even fighting. There was no risk from a human, she was sure of it. Still, his teasing words caused Nadya to quirk a brow in return. How very close that was to a bark. Color her intrigued.
"No, his sort won't." She was pleased that the man agreed with her. "His sort will cancel the cards and certainly find some way to write off the missing money as some sort of charitable donation." A curious look crossed her features though when he seemed to want the wallet, to return it of all things. "I'm sure the photo was placed by that significant other to ensure his loyalty and be reminded of it every time he opens his wallet in case one of those times was to pay for someone else's drink. But, fine." How hard it was to see a man such as that with any sort of loyalty to their significant other. Either way, Nadya moved aside to retrieve that wallet from the flower pot it had been tossed. With some trepidation she stepped close enough to the stranger to hold that wallet out to him between her fingers. Though, her wrist curled inward to tip the wallet away when he reached for it. "And just how do you plan on explaining how you came about the wallet? An empty wallet." Again she held the wallet out and this time allowed him to take it. "...I'm Nadya by the way." Nadya shifted away from him once more, crossing her arms over her chest as she regarded him once more with curiosity.
