The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The vibrancy of the were-panther's emerald irises acutely scanned the colorless horizon before him. His observations, however, provided him with distinctly little information, not when the sky was indistinguishable from the very land he stood upon. The darkness was all encompassing and yet, his other instincts seemed determined to make up for his lack of sight. He could, for example, feel the shadows that swirled around his feet, brushing against his legs like an affectionate pet. The almost tactile sensation of them was somehow more prominent here when his gaze offered him nothing and oh, how they called to his power! It was that Southern drawl, however, that interrupted the Were's thoughts though, for the moment, he was inclined to keep his silence as he reached for his affinity. A small frown crossed his features at the very realization that his shadows - those necessary for his teleportation, refused to answer his call. Though the world around him was the very manifestation of his ability, and though he could feel the readiness in them, they didn't quite rush towards him in the way he was used to...not that he would have really be able to tell if they had, he supposed. An almost frustrated sigh left Tetradore's lips as the audible thud of Darcy's boot hitting stone further demanded his attention.
The Alpha was purposeful in his movements as he took several careful, quiet steps to the right, if only to further avoid the vampire's rather irritating presence. The threat Darcy offered the inky black void only furthered his inclinations to simply let the vampire pass him by, the man wholly ignorant to the way the shadow world seemed to react to Darcy's unwelcomed presence. The sudden bright flood of light caught Tetradore off guard the same way it seemed to affect the dim world around them. Those shadows seemed to scatter outside of that painfully luminescent halo - though Tetradore remained where he was. His hand rose, palm open as he held it in front of his face, his head tilted slightly away from the vampire as he squinted in the bright light. The last thing he wanted, admittedly, was to have his vision all but ruined from the cellphone's flashlight. The hiss from the vampire prompted his lips to curl though it was a distinctly feminine and rather robotic voice that cut through the silence. His phone seemed eager to inform them that even it hardly knew where they were. The light emitting from it, however, seemed to flicker precariously before, abruptly, it plunged them back into that all encompassing darkness.
For several moments, the silence between them persisted, only for Tetradore to break it with a soft scoff and the insistence that Risque was hardly going to raise a finger at what Darcy declared was his impertinence. That hiss upon the vampire's lips assured him he'd managed to provoke the vampire but Darcy was, thankfully, equally as handicapped by the...eternal night as Tetradore himself. That growl Darcy offered him, however, was returned by something else to his left, causing Tetradore's head to whip to the side. His brows furrowed as he eyed the bright red pin pricks that seemed to almost hover above the ground - this the first hint of true color he'd seen in the obscurity. Several more glowing dots joined the first set further back and to the left, their very presence caused his hair to stand on end. There was an almost tentative inquiry upon the Alpha's lips as he questioned if Darcy saw exactly what he was seeing. The dots were moving. They were getting closer...bigger...and a shuffling sound had begun to accompany them.
Those animalistic instincts began to scream at him as he stepped backward - right at the same moment Darcy stepped closer towards it.
An audible growl left Tetradore's lips as he jumped upward and forward, letting his body shift and contort as that transformation overcame him with a ripping of clothes. His paws landed with ease upon the ground, the were-cat stretching out in an all out sprint. He raced headlong into the darkness, entirely hating the sensation of not being able to see where he was going. At the very least he seemed to be matching the pace of those angry red eyes and snapping glowing jaws that remained several yards behind him. That was, at least, until the Alpha stumbled over several large pieces of rock that littered the ground. The trip sent him near rolling forward, the cat collided into several more of the shattered remains of boulders that had once filled the valley, only to slam with a thud into a tall rock wall itself. The ravine's wall, though he couldn't see it, towered over them like the cliffside of a mountain. Tetradore, in his ignorance, leapt up the side of the wall, his claws struggled to find purchase only to slide back downwards towards the now prowling beasts. They knew they had caught him - and Tetradore knew it too. He settled with all four paws back upon the ground, his back placed to the wall behind him as his jaws parted to release a threatening growl. They were getting closer, getting ready to move in for the kill...only Tetradore had every intention of going down fighting.
"Over here!" There was a soft squeak to his left, causing his head to shift. "Two paces to your left..." The high pitched voice whispered.
"Stay out of it, rat." The far deeper voice seemed to rumble in front of him, the shadowed creature's jaws had parted, his voice a growl that grated upon the panther's ears.
"Don't even think about it." The shadowed creature's companion baited him from his right. For a single, breathless moment, the trio stared at one another, the larger red-eyed animals intent upon ensuring their prey did not escape.
This, Tetradore knew, might be his only chance...less he wanted to risk finding out the possibility that his claws and teeth failed to find purchase upon the creatures. Abruptly, the cat lunged to his left, the red eyed monstrosities immediately following him with snapping jaws. A pair of small blue eyes stared at him from the darkness before retreating just out of view. Without his vision, Tetradore had distinctly little idea of what he was diving into, the Were-Panther rather certain he was going to collide into...something again. What he didn't expect was to feel his sides embraced with the coolness of...earth? Where the fuck was he? The small creature in front of him suddenly seemed to brighten with streaks of blue, that otherworldly color rippled through it's fur as it guided him further into the....hole? It certainly smelled of earth and feverishly the panther dug himself deeper into the burrow. "Hurry! It's too small for them but...you should be able to fit." The small creature which was most definitely not a rat squeaked at him from over its shoulder as it led him deeper and deeper. For several feet, the earth felt as if it was nearly crushing him, the feline forced to twist and turn and feverishly dig his way deeper and deeper - the sounds of those snapping jaws lessening behind him as the monsters admitted their temporary defeat.
The emerald of his gaze remained trained, however, on that small streak of light in the darkness ahead of him as the...ferret...maybe....guided him through the hole. The sediment under his claws slowly gave way to a harder rock surface - the pressing earth against him slowly released it's hold as the hole opened up into a...cave..of sorts. "Here you go! You should be okay now!" The creature turned to look at him with bright, luminous blue eyes - though Tetradore's efforts to reach for the ferret's mind in the same way he did the Weres in Sacrosanct fell decidedly short. How...peculiar. A soft huff left his lips as the ebony fur rippled, giving way to soft, caramel skin. Tetradore hadn't considered, admittedly, how that easy transformation might be received by the weasel-like creature in front of him. A soft gasp echoed upon the animal's lips, drawing Tetradore's gaze downward and towards those big blue eyes that stared up at him.
"You're a...you're a...eidolon!"
For a moment, the Hispanic man merely stared at the blue eyes in front of him with a blank look across his features.
"Who?"
"Oh...well...I don't know about him but the canyon dead ends in the direction you were going, the nighthaunts will go after him next if they have him cornered." Her voice squeaked at him as the shadowy creature fell back on all fours. "There's a tunnel that will lead us there - we can look for him."
The ferret was already running off, it's fur had dimmed to blackness seemingly at whim, leaving Tetradore standing naked in darkness once again without that blue to guide him. In fact, it was the soft pitter patter alone that he had to go by, though it too shortly stopped. Tentatively, Tetradore took a step forward in the direction he thought the creature had disappeared in. His hands were cautiously held out in front of him, the Alpha meeting little resistance as he slowly moved deeper into that darkness. BAM.
The ferret glanced back at him, her head tilted to the side curiously before she started what Tetradore was certain was obvious. "You....can't...see?" She confirmed, as if she had only just realized that.
A soft 'hmph' left her lips before, suddenly, that vibrant blue light fluttered to life again within the depths of her fur. "It gets narrow ahead." She informed him as she continued slowly into the darkness, guiding the Alpha throughout the system of caves.
Quite on cue, the path way ahead began to narrow, pressing against his sides in such a way that he had to shift sideways to shimmy slightly through the bottle-necked space, his hands pressed against the smooth stone as he followed the ferret a short distance through the caverns labyrinth of tunnels before, suddenly, she stopped.
"They found him." She squeaked softly as she scrunched down against the ground, her gaze turned downward. He watched as the hair upon her body seemed to puff out ever so slightly. Tetradore stepped forward, only for her to pause and look up at him. "There's a ledge here." She informed him. Slowly, he nodded before dropping down to his knees beside her. Silently, the Alpha peered into the darkness, only to spy the vibrant, deadly red of the Nighthaunt's eyes. A small frown crossed his features as he eyed them, prowling forward with teeth glinting in the demonic glow of their centers.
A small flash brightened the tip of Darcy's gun as the vampire fired at the shadows, the action accompanied with a sound that echoed within the cavern. The bullet, however, momentarily tore through those nearly intangible wisps of darkness. Darcy's aim was true, the leader took the shot in the shoulder, the silver leaving a large hole in it's nebulous skin. The damage was, unfortunately, only fleeting before the tendrils of darkness again enveloped the creature's fluttering shape, recrafting and refining the Nighthaunt's body as if nothing had happened in the first place. A cackling laughter left the creature's parted jaws. "Keep trying, cowboy." The creature taunted in that deep, echoing voice.
How....tempting it was to simply let Darcy fall to his fate. After all, he certainly didn't hold an ounce of love for the man that had been insulting his mother only minutes ago. For a moment, his brows furrowed in contemplation before an almost regretful sigh fell from his lips.
My heart is just to dark too care. I can't destroy what isn't there
so if you love me let me go
Deliver me into my fate & leave me with my sins
If you still care, don't ever let me know
