West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

These golden ashes turn to dirt;

Some fear fire, but I've become it.

The she-wolf stacked another empty box in a precarious makeshift tower of cardboard that only seemed to grow as time went on. It was impressive as that cardboard tower seemed to defy gravity itself. Yet with each and every emptied box, it truly felt like a collective weight was pulled off the she-wolf's shoulders. How grateful she was for the help, it would have taken Mira well into the AM hours on her own, the task far better powered with two women with their minds set.

Her blonde companion then warned Mira not to tempt a southern woman with a good time. Oh? This caused the she-wolf to be coaxed into interest, her head canted slightly as her molten-golden eyes fell upon the laughing woman. "Sounds ominous. Is it anything like getting water on a gremlin after midnight?" She could not stop her own wide grin, that tone easily teasing. Teasing aside, it was still a reference to one of her favourite movies. She had a weakness for old horror movies.. The older and cheesier the better. And truthfully, the woman was curious if she would catch the reference.

Shortly after, well into that task at hand, the conversation shifted. It took some time for Mira to catch the way the were-leopard turned almost pensive while Mira placed a bottle of Patron on the top shelf, rotating the bottle to see the label clearly. Pivoting lithely upon the balls of her feet, almost in time with the song softly playing in the grab drop to reach for two more bottles of gin and placed them in an orderly fashion amongst the backlit shelf. It was then that Carolina voiced the question that was on her mind. It was the shift in her companion that caused Mira to shift her attention from organizing those bottles and intently to Carolina. Why did she end up joining the pack?

Now that was something the she-wolf had no problem in sharing, after all, it was hardly a secret. Those reasons why she joined and chose to stay within Sacrosanct were actually pretty simple even though she had once dramatically vowed to never join another pack again. It all seemed so funny to think of now. It was one of the best decisions she had ever made. She had found a home, people she cared about and so much more. It was easy to share those reasons with Carolina before she sipped the well-made Moscow Mule.

Mira bobbed her head in agreement with Carolina's words, lifting her free hand to tuck a lock of hair behind her before the other woman began to open just a little. It had to be the first time the woman ever really came close to truly opening up. There clearly was a story veiled well behind the other woman's walls that she would maybe one day be willing to share. "It's true, all I know is that I wouldn't have stayed if it had been. The beauty is there is no rush, you just do what is right for you. What feels right will come. Plus, you always have a job here. A friendly ear too, if you want it. Pretty sure I am never too hard to find." Mira added thoughtfully, tone still light as she offered the other woman a warm smile that met the golden depths of her eyes.

The she-wolf took a final sip of her drink. She decided she really liked it... enough to want another... It was quite strong but then again... Mira had asked for exactly that and Carolina certainly delivered. It certainly was not the last one she indulged in that night either. It was then... that she considered the wereleopard's words from earlier. Mira paused from wiping down that bar top, hanging up the rag before placing both hands on her hips and turning to face the other woman.

"Hey Carolina..." She waited long enough for the woman's attention "I think we finally actually did it." She declared proudly.

"One thing though... You need to tell me what actually happens if you offer a southern girl a good time? I've never had a friend from the South before... so I feel like it is your duty to tell me."
