East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

This wasn't supposed to happen. Tetradore had taken such care in ensuring he never bit those of the mortal races and those he did? Well, he ensured they wound up six feet beneath the dirt with their throats tore to shreds if only so they didn't have to share his fate. He strove with such care to ensure he did not find himself exactly within the position that he was now - someone's creator. It was a role he had never liked even the idea of and yet, he had been lax. He had been hopeful. He should have known better. A small scowl crossed his features at those words so icily directed towards him, his emerald eyes narrowing ever so slightly in response. Tetradore was never one for chatting, per say, and yet, he had realized that this was a decided necessity. Henry needed to know what he had gotten himself into, he needed to know how to be what they were if only to ensure the man didn't start some renegade creation of shifters to be traced back to his lineage. He watched as the man moved to get up, Tetradore shifting ever so slightly in his chair to so turn his attention back towards his creation. "Well, Buddy, do you think I want to be chasing your ass half way around this god damned town? Because I don't. But you're still too naive to heed the call of your Alpha and so...here I am. I won't have you changing half the town because you too much of an ignorant son-of-a-bitch to listen to a fucking ten minute conversation. So sit back down and then when you have some idea of what you are now, you can do as you damn well please without my intervention or the invention of your pack."

It was the best he could offer - the promise that after this, Henry could continue his life as he saw fit if such was the method he chose. Tetradore had little desire to forcibly put himself in a life that didn't want him. He had far too many responsibilities to see to something as futile as that. Still, there was some hint of understanding the blond stranger, the man pausing in his departure as a certain note of something he said seemed to hit acord. "I don't know this....Sterling." He stated simply, his emerald gaze still steadfast upon his companion. "But I am sure you know damn well what I am talking about. Your skin felt like it was on fire. It wasn't like a fever though, it was something else. Your bones and muscles ached because they were changing. And then your world was nothing but pain." He recounted those first few moments of the shift with relative ease, even though Tetradore himself had been too young to truly remember much of it. Still, it was common knowledge amongst their community. "I could help with that, you know." He stated simply a small shrug crossing his shoulders. "It's a benefit of belonging to a pack." He was, after all, at least wholly capable of selling himself with the mood struck and this was certainly one such aspect of it. After all, Tetradore still had little notion of his companion's utter lack of memory of that shift, much less what happened during. He knew, in some regard, that he had failed his creation. He should have been there during those first few moments, to help with that confused mess afterwards and he had not. This was, at least, his effort to make things right.
