East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Those softly uttered words of adoration, as forbidden as they surely were not only for him to hear but too to utter in response, had a fashion of making the man's usually still heart flutter ever so slightly. For the last year and a half, his life had been so intertwined with her own in such a way that surely she had once been horrified to find herself. And yet, for all the terrors he had created for her, and too all those crystalline dreams of beauty, his own desires for the auburn girl had remained wholly steadfast from the very beginning. He remember with such clarity her slender figure bound so perfectly in the curves of that black leather corset, her own demeanor seemed far more tender than that garment so demanded her to be. It was that hesitance, that lack of belonging that had drawn him to her and in the end that inescapable allure had led them far too dark of paths together in a way even he had hardly anticipated. Still, even despite the horrors, he found himself still looking upon those rare moments of light with noteable fondness and that everlasting sensation of adoration so saw his lips utter softly the admittance that, though he knew could hardly placate the young woman, was still entirely true. He would always pine for her and, in turn, a piece of his heart would always belong to her.

His lips ever so gingerly brushed against the young woman's flesh, the man so attempting in those delicate moments to reassure her of his affections for her and yet, truly, he found himself wondering what she had anticipated from this very admittance. Would she have left Damon for himself if he had done the same to Samantha? Tetradore had always assumed that the vampire had held on so tightly to the young woman out of his love for her, but perhaps it was something more? Insecurity? Jealousy? Still - regardless of those lingering inquiries, Tetradore pushed such thoughts from the forefront of his brain. It did not matter now, he was assured, whatever they would have considered was not going to come to pass. He was certain both of them held an adoration for their current significant others that such destruction for their own union would leave far too much damage then either was willing to even begin to consider.

That brush of her lips across his cheek was enough to contribute to bringing his attention back to the present, a small simper so rarely crossing the man's features. His own hands fell delicately to her waist, simply allowing those contemplations that so clearly filled her mind. What he hadn't expected, however was the way in which she had studied him enough to be aware of his entire lack of sleep. A small shrug crossed his shoulders and yet, he hardly bothered to voice a word in response. She hardly needed to know that he hadn't slept in nearly two days now - there was far too much that required his oversight in the wake of Risque's death for him to give into such things as sleep. Not to mention that as much as the man hated to admit it, he knew well that the moment he closed those emerald eyes, the nightmares that he had done so well to avoid for so long would surely plague his dreams yet again. "I'll be fine." He uttered at last, offering that young woman a small smile before he entirely brushed off his own state of wellbeing. "How are you doing, Isolt?"
