The young woman's chocolate hued eyes stared with awe at the art in the cup not only in front of her but too, of the gentleman across from her. The wolverine like creation was quite easy for the girl to pick out amongst that foam and coffee and, quite before she realized she had done it, the demure vampire found herself uncharacteristically commenting on the creation within his cup with an audible hint of amazement. Her hand rose to her lips nearly immediately, entirely hoping he hadn't noticed her as she tried to settled back against her own chair. It was terribly rude of her, after all, to so interrupt him when he seeemd so particularly focused upon the book within his lap. She knew well had terribly frustrating it could be to get engaged within a novel only for the world to so disrupt it right at the good part - it was hardly a feeling she wished to subject someone else to. It was the sound of his voice that caused a bashful glimpse across her features before the young woman slowly nodded, hardly bothering to correct the man on calling Amaterasu a fox. After all, to admit that he was wrong would perhaps be just as impolite as her transgression of so bothering him.
Chizue quietly cleared her voice, placing her cup down beside her as her hands folded within her lap. "I'm sorry if I --" The demure girl started, her words cut off entirely as the man dropped his book enough to glance up at her. That recognition was all too obvious as it flittered across her features though she hardly had time to react to it before the man in front of her was offering her a warm grin, so commenting on that very same hint of familiarity. The vampire could hardly help the giggle that left her lips at his enthusiasm, "Hello, Jonathan." She commented, all too cheerfully in response. This was certainly an unexpected change of events, though one she hardly minded in the least. "I've been okay, how are you?" She inquired, genuinely curious of how well her friend was since the last time she'd seen him. His inquiries of this place, however, caused the young girl to shake her head ever so slightly. "I've never come here before either. But I live right over there..." Chizue paused, gesturing towards the row of townhomes across the street, "...and I could smell the coffee from my window so I thought I'd give it a try." She offered him that same warm grin, hardly bothering to point out that, though he seemed eager to return to this cafe, neither of them had actually even tried the coffee. But, perhaps, the environment alone was enough to warrant the pair's return. Only time, it would seem, would truly tell.
