East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

we stopped checking for monsters under our beds,

when we realized they were inside of us all along.

"where?"

The growled out baritones carry a warning within them. Lie again, and die. There were no other options at this point. The viking had had enough, he was already an impatient man as it was with a temper hot enough to incinerate the ground he walks upon. The erotic noise within blocks out the attempted squeals and minute cries for help that the smaller man manages to get out from underneath the viking's boot. The viking presses further, watching the tanned man turn an interesting shade of purple, his lips twisting upward in a sick smile that doesn't reach his eyes.

He releases, letting out an irritated sigh as he watches him roll over, gasping for air. He lowers himself, elbows resting upon his knees as massive hand casually begins to pat the younger man upon his back. How sinister he must look, scarred bearded face practically indifferent about the situation at hand. It is within the darkness of the alley beside the Cat's Meow that this charade has occurred. No witnesses, none to see and none to hear.

"come now, luis. I won't ask again." his husky tones are dragged out in a slow snarl, the silver dipped axe hanging loosely from his other hand before coming to press against the others throat and lift his face to meet the viking's cold blue eyes. Flesh begins to burn, tears welling in the man's eyes yet he does not remove his chin from the axe. Perhaps he knows better? No, the viking has him under control, the blood within the other man's mass under lor's command.

He smirks, annoyance growing in his gaze as he uses his free hand to slide into the pockets. A bag is withdrawn, money rolled inside it as he lifts it to his face to inspect. "tsk, tsk. Not even half the amount needed to pay your debt." the axe lifts, the butt end colliding with the skull of the other werecreature. A thud and the young man squeaks, crawling away from the now standing viking who pockets the money, " i could kill you, but you owe me more money..."

What to do...what to do...
