East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

My Own Form of CHAOS (Isolt)

He had gotten downright obsessive over the New Eden coven and their watchful eye on his wife-to-be. He had been growing increasingly frustrated in Sacrosanct because he couldn't find anything concrete. No books really talked about them besides vague speculations and every witch he managed to corner clammed up the moment they heard that name. It was like they were a forbidden group to talk about or something. It was like the Harry Potter books all over again. The dead ends only gave him new determination and he widened his horizons, trying to follow the people he would catch following Isolt at Red on the Water. They were descreet about it like they knew what they were doing but he knew a tail when he saw it. It was a different person every night but it was like they already had her work schedule locked down. He would watch silently from the balcony up above by the office as they stared her down and watched every move she made. It was downright disgusting.

A few times he caught himself wanting to kill the person and rid himself of that feeling but he knew it would only bring more trouble. They would know someone was onto them and they would find him and recapture him and he sure as hell wasn't going to be chained up in a god forsaken cave in the middle of nowhere hooked to vervain for months at a time again. No way. As for "that feeling" he was referring to, that would be a rather annoying case of insecurity. Isolt was his. His to protect, his to love, his to claim. He had never questioned his protection over someone before but in this, he felt helpless and he hated it. He wouldn't let them touch her and he would die before that happened but there was far too many of them and not enough of him. It would be a more likely chance at this point that his death would be the end result and she would get taken anyway and that downright infuriated him. No, he wouldn't just stand by and let that happen. He would kill every last one of them. He would kill every witch and warlock in the world if it came down to it.

But tonight he was taking a break from the mad slaughter going on in his brain because tonight he had a date with a very hot redhead. He had been out of town following yet another lead on the New Eden and now he had to make it up to her. He wanted to know what she'd been up to while he was gone and how she was feeling about the future. They hadn't really had a chance to talk about it yet. He pulled up in the car she had gifted him, knowing she would love to see it again, all cleaned up and refurbished just the way her and her brother Aaron had imagined it. It was his precious possession, besides her of course. He held the red roses to his chest as he got out and made his way to the door. Tapping lightly on the wooden surface, he wondered if Harley would be around this time or if he would truly get a night with her to himself. It seemed they didn't get a whole lot of that lately. In time, she would be all his for eternity but until that day, he had to share her with the world and it killed him on the inside a little bit every time he thought about it.
