East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

SHE WAS BORN AND TAUGHT TO ROAR.

ANDY AITHNE
SHE WAS BORN AND TAUGHT TO ROAR
Andy could almost feel the silver blood that coursed through her newest acquaintance's veins. Of course, her mind whispers. The brunette woman had always had a rough time getting along with others of her kind. It's why she hadn't joined a coven or even took the steps to start one of her own; while dangerous, Andy Aithne greatly preferred the company of Vampires and Werelings to her own silver-blooded species. They (herself included) were far too volatile for Andy's taste, and when it came to living vicariously, the hotheaded woman didn't need anyone or anything but her own mind egging on her actions.

Pulling herself up straight and turning to face the owner of the shoulder with which she had collided, the lithe Andy scoffs almost inaudibly. The hand that had previously been gifting the other woman with a less-than-polite expression sets itself on her hip. "If you'd been watching, you would have seen that I was trying to avoid you and your errant wandering." Rude laughter escapes Andy's ajar lips and she can't help but shake her head at the woman's insults, her straightened hair shifting over her shoulder as she does so.

"Yes, I was def--" She's suddenly cut short, bright amber eyes flicking away from the offending woman and to the monstrous man who had decided it was his place to intrude upon her conversation. Her sculpted eyebrows arch as she adjusts her weight so that it's easier to see both the Witch and the Giant, though her next sarcastic words address the man. "Oh, I'm sorry, I thought we were handling this quite civilly." Her lips curl into a sickly sweet smile as she procures her cellphone from the black clutch that hung from a leather band around her wrist. "Could I get your numbers? Maybe we could continue this bloodshed over a bit of coffee. I'd love to try the new French place down the block."

Somewhere in her head, Andy was well aware that the man was simply trying to dispel the tiff that had quite suddenly developed outside his storefront, but the Witch wasn't entirely skilled at directing her anger in the right direction - or at controlling her anger at all, for that matter.
