When the boys were off doing whatever it was they liked to do together the she-wolf spent her time in the Inner Sanctum, curled up in one of the darker booths in the corner, with a new book to devour. Though today she could hardly focus on reading her book. It had taken her nearly an hour for her to actually move on past the 10th sentence on the page. The ringing and buzzing in her head was ruining her moment of peace and quiet. Dismayed at her ability to even concentrate she slammed her book shut, growling softly, as she pulled the drapes away from her corner booth. With a half-hearted smile to the blonde barista she handed her book, knowing that it would be lying in wait for her, behind the counter for her next visit. With a sigh she pulled the hood up from her faded black hoodie, keeping her head down as she exited the café. She hated it when others stared at her. Of course they stared at her scarred face or when her deviant mate was doing something...unusual. However, since her visit with her Fae King friend, the paparazzi had her photo plastered on various celebrity media, and some folks had been recognizing her lately. It didn't help that her scarred face was the reason her identity was familiar. Usually when others recognized her she would give them a small smile and continue on her way, but today she wasn't in the mood to appear friendly or even cheerful for that matter.
The buzzing in her head seemed to intensify with every step she took on the pavement. Clutching the side of her head she allowed her fingers to rub her temple hoping that would ease it some. Unbeknownst to her she accidentally stumbled on her own feet, leaning into a tall man dressed in a business suit, who seemed quite aggravated by her misstep, that he deliberately shoved her to the side of the building. With a sharp yelp her side and shoulder slammed into the corner of the building, and then proceeded to stumble into the man the male waring a leather jacket, leaning up against the wall. Using her telekinesis she managed to catch herself from falling, easily lifting herself back onto her own two feet while trying to keep the man upright. Tilting her head upwards, her hand still holding onto the side of her head, she gave the man a sympathetic smile, her soft voice holding an apologetic tone.
