East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

She was sure things hadn't gone to plan in the Ark when Tetradore pulled them all together. He had wanted to say more but he had to take care of Raven first. She could see it in his eyes that day. She noted that he didn't say anything about himself, almost sly in the way he moved around the subject to talk to her about Raven and Tobias instead and their impending marriage. She knew they were a forever kind of couple from the beginning but she didn't think they would need something so human as marriage. She figured they would just become mates and be done with it. But she was happy for Raven. She deserved happiness and so far Tobias seemed able to give that to her. He told her not to worry about them not talking much, saying some friendships could work over time and she nodded with a smile.

"Thank you. I'm sure you're right. She'll always be my best friend." She knew that without a doubt. Then he said that she shouldn't mention that he'd told her. He figured Raven would want to be the one to tell her. Alexis smirked, her eyes twinkling. "Wouldn't want that. Your secret's safe with me." He pulled the subject around to her time at the Ark and she gave him the politeness of thinking good on her answer before she told him. When she did, she noticed that he looked almost surprised that she would tell him just how she really feel and in true Tetradore style, he already looked guilty about it like it was his fault. He told her that he had intended to offer as a Christmas present before everything happened and her brow rose in surprise. Offer her a place in the pack? He looked almost sheepish. It was pretty adorable for the serious panther she knew at the Ark.

Then he said it would be an honor to have her. Alexis was speechless for a moment. Finally she could be a part of the pack. She could be close to Raven and share in her big day. She could maybe patch things up with Tobias and get to know the other Were's in the pack more. She smiled. "I would be honored, Tetradore. I wanted to gain your trust first. I hope that I can say I did that."
