The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Calloused hands are slipped into his pockets, those slacks fitting him entirely well as he casually strolls down the bustling of the streets. It had been a long while since he had attempted to wander around downtown in hopes of finding fellow faeries and yet, it hardly captivated his interest anymore, his mind preoccupied by Lani and Lani alone. He couldn't stand to be away from her, a selfish almost possessiveness nature having taken ahold of him. Though, the monarch was aware that she had other things to attend to, she had her human life, her friends and even that blasted cat. No, he would not continuously harass her to remain in Somnia. The thought of his beloved little human could always bring joy into his heart though it was always followed with a dull ache, knowing it could not last nor could he push it further... even if they had already crossed several boundaries. Heaving a silent sigh, he pushes Lani to the corner of his mind, worried that he might turn around and hunt her down, just to feel her warm body wrapped in his arms. The Fae needed a distraction and that distraction came in the form of an extravagant limo.
Yet, it wasn't the limo that had caught his attention it was the woman that stepped out of it. Her one hair immaculately curled, a dress, that would have been better suited for another part of town, hugs her frame and showing off those generous curves and her scent... it makes the man pause. He hadn't truly been paying attention to the Fae that might have arrived recently in Sacrosanct, his mind entirely too preoccupied on other things. And yet, here was one of his kind, waltzing into the local pub, heads turning to watch the sauntering of her hips as she disappears behind that door. He's hesitant at first, that first impression of her leaving an uneasy feeling in his gut. He should keep moving, not even attempt to interact with this one but he knew himself better than that. He couldn't simply allow a faerie within the city not know about his court and the safety he extends, but still, that uneasiness finds him as he changes direction and slowly moves towards that entrance. Pushing open the door, his dark hazel eyes immediately adjust to the gloom as he takes in the noisy bar in front of him.
His mask is drawn over his face, blank eyes with a touch of cutlery playing at the corner of his mouth as he removes his hands from his pockets, his eyes scanning the bar. It hardly takes long for the man to find her, simply following the lustful gazes of the other men. Watching her slide into that seat, her posture perfectly perfect, she crossed a long leg before ordering herself a drink. From across the way, he can see her features shift into a friendly smile but he's still wary. There's something in her eyes that has him questioning his judgement on introducing himself. He would simply have to play his little game, how he despised it, yet it was sometimes necessary. He's about to move his frame forward but pauses once again as a man, also dressed entirely too nice for the pub, slips into a seat next to her, his brows furrowing for a moment. The tattooed man hardly makes an effort to talk to the woman, his scent hidden by the numerous smells around him but he waits a touch longer, as if he were stalking his prey for the evening. And in a sense he was, but not to slip between someone's sheets, that past time having been entirely extinguished in the wake of Lani.
It takes him only a moment longer to make his decision as he casually moves over to the bar, slipping into the other seat, his dark hazel eyes meeting the gaze of the other man briefly before he turns a cruel smile into the faerie woman, his tall frame sill towering over her even in a seated position, "Hello," he purrs, those dark tenors rolling off his tongue easily, expressionless eyes falling on the woman, "A faerie within the city rarely escapes my notice and yet you managed," he says smoothly, ignoring the bartender as she comes to take his order. Waving her off for a moment, his eyes return to the man next to her, unsure if they were an item, a brow arched his way, his scent finally drifting into his nostrils. "Ah, I see you've found a friend in a were," Andras comments, nodding his head in the man's direction.
