The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

He seemed amused enough with her reaction, leaning forward to add that she would enjoy the show. That only made her laugh and snort harder before she finally got herself under control. "I'm sure that's what you tell all the girls." She added back cheekily, raising a brow as her eyes twinkled with mischief. He was so confident. It just made it all the more fun for her to tease him. If only she knew more guys like this. She would have so much more fun in her life. She saw the instant confusion in his gaze when she told him that she just found out she was a Were. She knew it wasn't a common thing for Were's to go through most of their life without even knowing what they are, but then, she wasn't exactly common. She shrugged at his question. "Of course. I was also dealing with being kidnapped and shot with an arrow so being terrified was definitely in the cards. But it answered a lot of questions I had about myself." She never had a problem sharing. He seemed genuinely interested. Maybe he didn't know too many Weres. Well, now he knew one! At least he didn't look offended that she wasn't too crazy about the whole hook up with a stranger thing. Maybe that was fun for him but she knew she could never just get naked with someone she didn't know anything about, not unless it was to shift or something. She could do that in front of anyone, really, but she knew that was frowned upon. Being intimate, though? That was still considered a big deal to her, something to be treasured. He said that she had him figured out and she snorted. "Not even a little bit. I bet there's much more to you than meets the eye." She raised a brow in challenge as she smirked. He chuckled, saying not to knock it till she tried it and she shook her head. "Nope, not my style, sorry. I've heard all it takes is one time to get something permanent like Herpes or Aids." She watched plenty of commercials about treating them, anyway. Sounded disgusting. No, thank you. When she asked him about first impressions, he told her as long as they didn't have a penis, he wouldn't mind. Malia brought a hand to her mouth again and giggled, eyes going wide. "Well, that would certainly be...different. And here, I thought you had an open mind." She smirked, lifting a brow again. He continued to push about her night with Ashton but she didn't mind at all that nothing happened. He was very attractive, but she actually had lots of fun with him and could see that they were very different, personality-wise. He was a good friend, even if that's all they ended up being. At his suddenly questions, she tilted her head some, considering, before she shook her head. "Well, I can't tell you his status but I am no virgin. And I'd like to believe that clothes on or off, you can just sleep sometimes." She watched him, gauging his reaction as she took a few more mouthfuls of food. He said he preferred clothes off and she giggled again. "You're entitled your preference. It's probably less itchy that way." She scrunched up her nose again, glancing down at her shoulder. She still hated the itchiness of clothes. She wondered sometimes if that would ever fade. |
