Exhaling through her nose, Taliah straightens as a mask falls into place - her features a blank space as she watches the male in front of her. It was, perhaps, the sudden appearance of Tetradore that caused such a fluctuation of emotions - the woman hardly thinking that the Were King would follow through on his promise to look into her sister's whereabouts. Taliah having done everything for herself over the years it was always a pleasant surprise when others decided to lend a helping hand. Yet, the were-snake wasn't sure if the appearance of Tet was very... pleasant, she was certain the dark haired man was here to tell her he had confirmed the death of that long lost sister. Regaining her composure, she inquires about his hearings and honestly, Taliah is hardly surprised by his response - the man not one for giving up his connections. Her green gaze settles on him as she pushes her flyaways out of her face, a soft sigh exiting her lips. When Tet replies to her statement, she can't help but arch her brows in surprise, her eyes widening ever so slightly as she listens to his words.
A reptile show.
Why had she never thought to look into one of those. A crease appears in her forehead as she frowns, her tongue pressing to the roof of her mouth as she processes what Tetradore was saying. It was a long shot, there was a good chance her sister wouldn't be there - and yet, it was possible it could lead her to a new clue. She wasn't losing anything by investigating, if anything she would simply end up at square one. Forming her decision she gives the man a small incline of her nod as she steps around the table and approaches him, her head tilting back to look up at him, "Yes, let's go check it out. It won't hurt anything," she responds before stepping around him and approaching the counter. Reaching behind it, she snags her keys to lock up, "Give me a moment," she calls over her shoulder before making her way to the double doors of the kitchen.
Making a beeline for the ovens, she shuts them down and covers the remaining items on the rack. Taliah wasn't entirely sure how long they were going to be gone and she hardly wanted to waste any food. Grabbing a small bag - she fills it with a still warm loaf, 9 grain to be precise before she makes her way back into the lobby. Approaching Tet again, she hands him the loaf a bread wordlessly and gestures towards the door. "I'm ready," she states before ushering him out the door and into the cold, the chilly wind snapping at her hair as a shudder races up her spine. Locking up quickly, she slides her keys into her pocket and looks up at him, "Lead the way," she trails off but offers after a moment, "Thank you... for helping me. I'm surprised even the pandemic has shut down the movements of the Black Market," she ponders thoughtfully. "Did you hear anything else about the viper? Was it female? Or perhaps their coloring?" She inquires, though she has a sneaking suspicion Tetradore only had a few sparse details.
