East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

kissing death and loosing my breath
The sensation of the wolf's head against her own pulled Serafina's attention back to the lupine before her. She could feel her fur brush against her flesh, bringing Serafina's hand to rest nonchalantly upon the wolf's head, her gaze shifting to the back of her store and the shattered shards of glass that surrounded her. There was a soft sigh on her lips as she contemplate the damage that had been done, hearing the wolf's voice in her head as if she had read her own thoughts. A soft grunt was all that Serafina gave her in response, neither particularly angry at the woman nor truly accepting her apology. Instead she offered the wolf the smallest of shrugs as she began to make her way back to the shop, her thoughts still lingering upon the peculiar creature that had taken such an intense, violent stance towards her. It confounded her in a way, and her thoughts couldn't help but to dwell on it as she wandered through the back of her shop, mentally taking note of the glass shards here too before entering the front. Briefly her gaze swept over the debris and glass, a small frown crossing her lips as she made her way towards the book that had been occupying her attention prior to the creature bursting in through her front door. A few of the pages were damp from the liquid in the vials, one turned to ice thanks to the potion that it had contained. Some of the letters had become illegible all together, causing a frown to cross her feminine features.

The sound of Raven's voice inside her head drew her attention once more and briefly Serafina shrugged. "I don't know. I haven't seen anything like him before. I mean, not here anyways. There's only a few winged humanoid creatures in the lore though, so there are only a few things he could possibly be. Not that it matters anyways now." She commented as she plucked the book from the ground, brushing off the shards with a small wave of her hand. "I don't know what he wanted but...he isn't the only odd thing that happened today." Her eyebrows furrowed as she placed her book back on check out stand, her fingertips reaching up to brush gingerly against the necklace that she had fastened around her neck. "I found this this morning...." She spoke softly, her grey tinged gaze glancing downwards at the object as it hung from it's silver chain. It was peculiar to say the least, that one find should be followed by another much more drastic action. Briefly she reached up to undo the clasp around her neck, letting the gemstone fall into the palm of her hand. "Maybe I should put this in to safe keeping for now. It might have more to it then being just a pretty stone." She speculated, a glimpse of confusion momentarily crossing her features.
